  1. I knew I forgot to thank somone - JohnS for organising a top day once again.
  2. What age of car do you have mark? The new age has a centre section with a resonator then a cat pipe with a cat - which is the 3rd on a WRX and the 2nd on an STI. The classics have the centre with the cat and resonator which you replace as one. On my new age I just changed the resonated centre for a straight through one and removed the cat and put in a decat pipe. Result - sounds magic, pulls better.
  3. Dodgy - check Knows more about Subaru than FHI probably know - check
  4. Spooks was the spinner. Grant, my sincerest thanks for that video. My car is sounding fantastic even if I do say so myself. Top action from everyone else too.
  5. Blimey! I thought they were anthracite wheels craig!
  6. Sheep, it's the same backbox, just an unresonated centre and the third cat has been removed now too. I'm so chuffed with it. I was really pleased with my car on the whole. It's sounding and pulling better than ever, although I'm still getting left behind on the straights by some of the others. Brakes got better as the day went on actually, but the discs are nearly shot. Think I took out 7 different people during the day and no one complained. Although my mates wee boy was very quiet, and seemed to grab the door handle quite tightly a few times [] Peter's car was moving very nicely indeed. Marty, followed you a couple of times and you were doing very nicely. The tein + whiteline package is working a treat for a few of us. Good to see Craig bringing blue thunder down from aberdeen. Another top car from BHP. Ya didn't take a whole lot of convincing to get out on the track did you big man? I told you corners were good. Nice to meet Barry. The 06 is looking very nice indeed. Look forward to seeing you at some of the other meets. Get along to Ian Grieve in falkirk on the 22nd for the central one, should be good. Seafar, I thought the fuzz was behind us in Kincardine or I'd have maybe went after you a bit quicker. Turned out it was just a paramedic land cruiser. Curse you batenburg stickers! Anyone I've forgotten? Paul, thanks for remembering the double sided tape, but it was a bit strong for my liking [] A pre-emptive thanks to Col for the great pictures which will no doubt be up soon. And everyone else that made it up. Days like today make us all realise why we own scoobys no matter if you tracked them or not because the banter and the camaraderie is fantastic.
  7. Top man Paul. You'll be first in the passenger seat [y]
  8. Feckin' Defi control unit wont stay put where I've (temporarily) mounted it. The tape I'm using seems to have lost its stick. It's too late/dark/wet to reroute the wires for a hidden install on a flat surface like the glove box roof or inside the forrestor pocket, which I didn't want to do anyway. So! Does anyone have some that they could bring to KH tomorrow?
  9. Where are you based? And what kind of car is it for?
  10. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZKD0dJvaPOU QBERT "playing the drums". Saw him do this at the art school a few years back. Absolutely incredible live.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOH9WZdxZ4k The guy forgot to account for the fact the airbase was however many meters above sea level, so pulled the roll too quickly.
  12. I've got stuff to do as well just now and it ideally needs to be dry to do it!
  13. Welcome to the HKS club. I bet it sounds very nice with 1.7 bar going through it. It also looks the dogs danglies IMHO.
  14. Old Inns Shell station just off the A80 at cumbernauld at 7:45. Although we're on track so need to be up early. Not sure when/how the Edinburgh lot are getting up though.
  15. http://www.car.co.nz/newsevents.asp?articleid=11973 40 years old.
  16. Peter, shell and the little chef at cumbernauld is Old Inns. I will see you there at 7:45.
  17. Billy, the forum doesn't use HTML code. Try using [ img ] http://url [/ img ] But remove the spaces.
  18. Last year a caterham let me past on the railway straight. Then took the hairpin very gingerly (I didn't), and as I looked back in my mirror I noticed it was facing the wrong way in the grass. You need to be on top of your game to get the big power or lightweight RWD cars round in the rain.
  19. It's good fun in the rain. The Elises and especially the caterhams are easy pickings then.
  20. Does it say what rating it will be?
  21. When it gets on boost it's almost obscene. [] Tried recording it with my phone but the sound it records is the tinniest sound ever. Someone at knockers tomorrow with a good video camera please come and see me! Gus knows someone that makes the bits, and they are of the finest quality and a great price.
  22. Guy from singapore? I got them via auction, but I was the only bidder so got a decent price. Instructions - nope. Not really had a change to faff about with them either. Been thinking of swapping the controller for a version 2 as well.
  23. They are identical Brian. Same manufacturer.
  24. Craig, Knockhill is fully booked. You can't just turn up and get on.
