  1. Fly Fishing by J.R. Hatrick?
  2. What was the terminal out of interest? 9.1 is incredible. A bawhair off an 8 second. Is that the fastest manual shift impreza in the world then?
  3. Welcome. I think Peter's needing to install a wee PC in the restaurant so the customers can check the forums.
  4. Hope you lot have better observation skills when out on the road!
  5. WRX has 4 pots up front. Can you imagine how scary it is to slow down a new age with 2 pots?
  6. Odd. I though it was just 150 litres of V-Power you needed. I wouldn't have been upgraded to the optimax club before as I wasn't buying a mixture of the two fuels.
  7. Hillholder is only on non turbos I think. Anyone else know that? I service mine at the major maltese intervals. 1K, 9K, 19K, 28K etc. Although I do intermediate oil changes usually halfway between the services, but then I'm a visitor to the track, and do enjoy a wee spirited run now and again.
  8. It's very impressive. Car looks like it's setup nicely, and the big man can fair drive it. He's not been to the G. Mac school of full lock driving.
  9. LPG = Liquifiedd Petroleum Gas - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquified_petroleum_gas If it's on 2 pots it'll be a non turbo sport.
  10. Is it the issue with the integra and CTR on the front? Picked mine up last friday, but it wasn't in a plastic cover with any free samples.
  11. I've got 9,500 now, but a few months back I took out enough for £40 of vouchers. I'm tempted to save up for the ipod. Oh and my card came yesterday too.
  12. Mine was doing the exact same thing. Rear shocks replced under warranty and now sorted.
  13. Nae probs Brian. I can hack the electrics if someone can do the sensors (Gus got a good look []). You'll probably need a plastic t-piece for 5mm vaccum hosing, and also a length of vaccum hosing for the boost sensor. Easy to get at your local motor factors place. Probably also a gallery plug to mount the temp sensor, Subaru part number 11024AA210 at £9.87.
  14. That you were Gus. You did more than I did anyway.
  15. What spec - full decat, standard ecu etc. etc.?
  16. I should clarify I have nothing against the quarter mile, and that in no way are drag racers women. Covering 1/4 of a mile in 10 seconds takes a large pair of cojones as well as serious technical know how. But I do like a good corner or three.
  17. Good one JC [y]
  18. Paul, all the stuff inside I did. Electrics and mounting the pod. I just didn't fancy mounting the sensors in the engine in case I made a right arse of it, so I got spooks to do that bit. Which you are correct in saying I stood and looked and pointed a bit and generally tried to keep out of the way. Higgy, I bought them off an ebay seller who has had a few sets on recently. Sheep also bought a set and he's pleased with them. He has a set on just now for about the same as I paid - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-Subaru-...emZ110025076821 They look the absolute business as they are STI branded. Sheep posted a pic of his here - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/756349/ShowPost.aspx
  19. Sorry to hear Scott. Very sad news.
  20. higgy, I got some defi sti genomes from Singapore. £400. Spooks and myself fitted them. Very nice they are too.
  21. Sorted for you. []
  22. I'll eat my hat if you were all making that sort of speed on the straight. Is that Speedo indicated or GPS?
  23. No point doing anything by half is there Peter? [] Good choice.
  24. Craig, I think it was just his crank breathers depositing a wee spot of oil onto the hot exhuast. Nothing to be concerned about. Can be fixed using a catch can.
  25. http://www.pistonheads.com/roadtests/doc.a...=47&i=14850 1100bhp, 124mph in just 4.9 seconds. As Clarkson would say - that's not a car, that's automotive pornography.
