  5. Hi all I am looking for a crash helmet I can borrow for Santa Pod this weekend as all runners with cars capable of 110mph over the 1/4 mile have to wear a helmet. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help Cheers Iain

I think that due to the track day at Kemble this months meet has been put off, it did not help with me being away on holdiay with no internet access I have alot of catching up to do too sometimes I wonder if holidays are actually worth the bother LOL I may be popping over to yours though SP Cheers Iain

Hi everyone I spoke to Chris at Linden Special Vehicles in Wellingbourgh today about hosting another RR day for us, he agreed that this would be a great idea, the cost would be only £30 per car with a minimum of 4 runs aiming to get 2 matching/close runs. We will be looking to get 20-25 cars for the event, the date for the event is open at the moment but will be fixed once there is a minimum of 10 cars. 1.   9. Hi Rich It would be nice to put faces to names like you say, there are some of the best roads in Britain where I am going Anyone who knows the road from the Skiach services to the north coast via Boner Bridge and Lairg will know what I mean. Cheers Iain

  13. A leaking dump valve could also cause your symptoms mate (if an atmospheric dv is fitted) Cheers Iain

Hi mate I missed this post LOL The IACV is easy to remove but there is no real need to touch the screws on the top (they are for adjustment), completely remove the IACV from the intake manifold via the bolts on the rear, it is a very straight forward task of remove clean refit, the gasket should pose no problems unless it has been siliconed in the past, there is a diaphram inside the manifold once you have removed the IACV just be sure that if it is removed and cleaned that it goes back in as it came out, if you are at all unsure just let me know mate I am just round the corner.   23. I use shell on the a40 on the road to Cheltenham, or the one at Subaru in Highworth, I know that NF is a good octane booster. Cheers Iain
