  10. Hi all I am looking for an Sti Genome or Race Box exhaust for my car, if you have or know of someone who has one that fancies something a little louder I have an Afterburner Vortex which I would happily exchange. I just fancied somethng a little quieter, the Afterburner on my car is a little extreme Cheers Iain
  11. Can I do a collect for these pleasev Fantastic effort guys, I just had the busiest week ever at work so I am a little behind Cheers Iain
  12. If you have a spare spark plug lying around all you need to do is like you say pick one lead at a time remove it from the plug on the engine place the spare plug in the end of the lead and then place the plug with lead attached to bare metal on the engine block ensuring the threaded area of the plug is in good contact with clean metal then crank the engine. If you dont have a spare plug you can remove one from your engine just be aware that you should keep the spark as far away from the open cylinder port as possible to avoid any fire risk. Hopefully that made sence Cheers Iain
  13. Very impressive If it had been tarmac and not snow he was towing on I think he would need a tow home too though Great find Cheers Iain
  14. The Sti Ecu may never run 100% correct with your car as there are other differences within the engine itself too but fair play for giving it a go fella and all the best. Cheers Iain
  15. From the poll so far I am looking at our main meet being on Sunday evening and perhaps a mini 2 weeks after on a Thursday evening. Cheers Iain
  16. Cheers for the input Colin , I know that there are more than 10 of us out there, if I cant even get input on when we hold our meets there is not much hope is there come on guys I am doing this so that the club can be better for you but it takes you guys to make it work. Cheers Iain
  17. Have you tried looking for a spark yet fella? Cheers Iain
  18. If yours was a 97 they should have been phase 1.5, you will need the orange MAF and you may want to look at a form of boost control too as the boost duty on the Sti ECU is set for Sti engine running a VF24 so it will not work well with the TD04 and may cause boost issues. Cheers Iain
  19. There are various issues with what you have done mate, the Sti uses the orange label MAF sensor, a VF24 turbo and larger injectors which you have sorted, what colour were your uk injectors? For this to work you would need to ensure all the engine components looked at and controlled by the ECU matched those of the Sti. Cheers Iain
  20. Sounds like the keypad for the alarm system mate. Cheers Iain
