  1. Was it a 3 litre bottle of White Lightning ? Cheers Iain
  2. I am sure with a bit of planning we can get something together I will have to look into see if it has to be cans, not sure if bottles will be allowed. Cheers Iain
  3. It really depends on the model, the std setup is 50/50 that is with the viscous centre diff but the scoobs with DCCD have a split which can be adjusted from about 35/65 open to 50/50 locked. Link...........DCCD info Cheers Iain
  4. If you could leave it a little later in the day that would be cool mate as we have a couple of mates round for Sunday dinner. Cheers Iain
  5. Great Ed, I am sure we could get a few places to donate a crate or two, we could perhaps contact a few beer stockists and create a bit of a drive out to collect any donations, the final drop off at Brize could be an awesome photo shoot opportunity. Keep the ideas coming guys. Cheers Iain
  6. Hi guys I would like to try and do something in aid of the 'Beer for the boys' effort, the idea being to put a beer in the hand of our troops as they fly home from 6 months or more duty in places like Afghanistan. How cool would it be to turn up in 10+ scoobs with the boots full of beer in aid or this worthy cause, it how to get the beer in the boot that is the problem so please get your ideas in and lets make this happen. 13. I dont know off the top of my head mate but you are more than welcome to come over and we can measure the pipes and I will show you how I put it together, also the alloy wishbones are still here too Cheers Iain
  14. It could just be emissions (bad fuel), or perhaps a knock sensor issue although thats more common on classics. Cheers Iain
  15. Obviously all our scoobs are going to be modded and setup different but just to see if I was going mad I went out this morning and took pics of the dash in both my 01 Fozzy and my 97 Sti, they are both full decat etc yet they both have roughly the same idle speed. Pics were taken within 15 secs of turning the key. V3 WRX Sti MY01 Fozzy S-Turbo Cheers Iain
  16. All 3 of my scoobs have always started with a cold idle speed of 1500rpm so I assumed it to be normal. Cheers Iain
  17. Going back to your first question 1500rpm idle from cold is perfectly normal so long as the idle gradually comes down as the temp increases and then idles roughly about 850rpm when up to temp. Cheers Iain
  18. Without going into it too deep the lower the charge temp is kept the more power you can get out of the engine, so the more efficient your intercooler is @ cooling and flowing air the better the charge cooling is which equals more scope for more BHP. Cheers Iain
  19. Here are a few pics of my V3 Sti Cheers Iain
  20. The ver 4 is MY98 to MY99 (pre face 2nd lift), what manual have you got for the MY99 Turbo? The std Subaru OEM gapping for NGK PFR6B spark plugs is 0.7 to 0.8mm the 1.0 to 1.1mm gap I thought was for the N/A scoobs? Cheers Iain
  21. It is true that you can do this on the newer solenoids (post MY99) but there is no need to, spraying carb cleaner through the ports works just fine, however it works best if you spray it through with the 2 green connectors under the drivers side of the dash are connected allowing the solenoid to operate as you blow it through. Cheers Iain
  22. That is normal, the fuel pump would have been doing the same Cheers Iain
  23. Dont forget me on the list I'm a defo Cheers Iain
  24. Defo mate, have they set a date yet I have not looked for a few days
