  5. I would dump the Bailey and get a Forge DV setup to suit your car mate, to put it politely the Bailey DVs are rubbish and always cause issues with sticking and leaking. Are you still using the OEM boost control? Cheers Iain

  10. Hi guys I have sat and thought about this 'Beer for the Boys' fund today, it seem that most of the support so far has been through major breweries etc which is good for getting the beer, however the way I see what we are doing is not only helping put that first cold beer into the hands of returning troops it shows huge local and national support which speaks volumes on its own. Regardless of getting bladdered in Akrotiri or not, that first beer they get on the way home will mean the most Thanks guys for all the support so far, I am sure this is just the beginning of something big. Cheers Iain
  11. I really hope things get better , like I said its really easy to post up suggestions etc but these ideas cannot and will not work without the backing of the members. Cheers Iain
  12. All for it mate its just getting people to commit that is the issue, we really need people to commit to these things and it is not happening. Cheers Iain
  13. Thats great mate thanks for the help Cheers Iain
  14. Beer For The Boys (Website) Beer Collected So Far = 360 Money Collected So Far = £10 + Donated Items (Thanks Autoglym) Supported By Autoglym Hi all This is now the main thread for the 'Beer for the Boys' fund, on here I will update the totals of both beer and cash collected as we go along with our fund raising. All news of fundraising events inc location, dates and times will be posted on here. Many thanks for the support so far guys, we have had great feedback from 216 Sqn already and we have not even really started yet. This has the potential to be huge so lets get together and make a good go of this. Spread the word at work, tell your friends and family and ask them to do the same. We are looking for donations of both money and beer, be it a can, a crate, a pound or a tenner it all adds up. Many thanks for your time on this guys Cheers Iain Iain Duncan 01993 846903 07961 614452 isumpy1@aol.com
  15. Hi all If you are doing your Chrismas food shopping between now and then, please consider picking up a few extra cans or a crate for the 'Beer for the boys' fund Cheers Iain
  16. Hi all Please answer the questions and we will look into making changes in the New Year. Cheers Iain
  17. I dont want anyone to take this the wrong way but I have tried to sort karting out now more times than I care to remember and everytime I am let down by the guys who wanted to do it in the first place so perhaps if you want to do things then can I ask that you see them through. I am not going back to Sturdys as it was not really the best pub in the world for the meet, food or service. My plan as always was to have a pub meet to arrange an event for the coming month so that we could break the mould of just having 12 meets a year in the same place, I feel I have to point out that we cannot hold any events if no one shows any interest, no one puts names down or even worse have people pull out last minute causing a cancellation, I only say this as this seems to be the trend. If you want more events, shows and karting etc etc then show an interest, get your names down and make the effort to show up on the day then these things will happen, it is easy to make suggestions the hard part is getting everyone to take part. Cheers Iain
  18. Hi all I just had to pass this on to you all. Had a phone call today from an Officer at 216 Sqn Brize Norton, who has expressed huge thanks towards us and all the effort and donations that have been made already so well done guys keep it up. Cheers Iain
  19. Perhaps worth having a poll to decide what day and time of the day is most popular for to hold the meets and we could plan out the meets in the new year according to what feedback we get. Cheers Iain
  20. Well I like it , I dont think it matters what colour it is or really what it looks like to be honest (I have always been more for performance than looks) but it is clearly no chav'd up Turbo 2000 with less than factory performance like what you would normally see on ebay. I cant help but think that it is the love child of some dirty B road romp between a Scoob and an EVO though. Very interesting post though I love seeing the progression of cars caught on camera Cheers Iain
  21. I agree 100% with this but we need to know if the MAF was unplugged with the engine running or was it unplugged then started? Cheers Iain
  22. Isnt that always the way , ok mate I will keep a look out for the pics. Cheers Iain
