Some peeps find that if they use internet based sellers they can save a couple of quid on tyres. Personally I'm willing to pay the cost of a round of drinks more to have local service, these are the guys that sort you out when you are in the sh!t up against a wall. The ones who take the trouble to make sure you come back because you are a valued customer, not nameless, not £20 to fit because you bought online etc. For what it's worth, rather than my single opinion which I've voiced many times, anyone got anything bad to say about Jim Dickson ? Doug, it won't be busy, deliberately so. In previous years we have run them like a sprint with 40-50 cars, as such people got a brief chance to compare their car to the previous year, but no real quality testing time. This year we decided to spread the SSC test day over the weekend and limit the entry on both days so that people got some quality testing time on track. ---john---
