Hey all I know how to post pictures alright....but what is the best size and maximum file size that can be uploaded... want to post up about next central meet and finally post some pics from the last one!!.... cheers Paul

Oohh Jen, to be honest it took me absolutely ages to get this set. I have UK300 lights on mine and the moment which were believe it or not left hand drive...so I bought the sti ones to replace them. However with the help of my good buddy Spooks we converted them back to RH drive, so I have no need for the sti ones.... I paid £250 for my set from a guy on the "other site"...and to be honest would want to get as much of that back as I could. They have never even been on the car........I know its steep if you only want to replace one light....but why dont you have a hunt first for one....be really specific with what you ask for mind you with the breakers...or you will end up with wrx headlights....if its under £100 its unlikely to be an sti light.... Have a think anyway...and check out the add tom night for a picture... Good luck with the hunt... cheers Paul

Jen If its just a standard WRX Bugeye headlamp, try a breaker like Central Subaru..they had some the last time I looked..you can always pick one up on ebay as well......however could I tempt you with a set of sti bugeye lights I will putting up for sale tomorrow on the site......?? Paul

Hi Not sure if your wanting to change the whole set up or just the springs but I can highly recommend the Tein basic damper kit. The standard sti shocks on mine were complete mince and in the end it was cheaper to replace with the tein complete kit than it was for sti shocks alone....really transformed the handling of the car....yes it is a stiffer, but not uncomfortably so.....the turn in is so precise you will find yourself doing roundabouts just for a laugh......car had eibach springs before so no point in showing you before and after shots as the car sits roughly the same..... as for the tein springs on there own...a lot of guys on here have them and think they are great...but Im sure they will be along when they get out of bed to answer... cheers Paul

Aye you can rely on me and my sat nav......just because we ended up at Aldi Bathgate.....and not Lidl whitburn.........arghhh Paul

Thanks to Grant and Imy for a wonderful day......Imy you certainly know how to floor it when required I must say.....all of our group behaved very well which made all the much better with no pressure to push on......good steady (not so slow) pace seemed to be the order of the day.... Highlight for me and my co-driver buddy FrazA has to be the sound of the full decats going under the tunnel heading out of Abingdon.......we laughed for about 10miles after that..... also thanks to Brian and Tam as usual for the catering facilities which provided my top up sausage roll....... All in all a great day.......shame for those that missed it though.....

Hey bud Cant offer any advice on the bulb...but do give the powerbulbs website a run over....when i was looking for a good deal they were doing Buy One Get one Free on all their uprated H7 bulbs...was quite a saving over what I was going to pay in our local motorstore beginning with Hal...... Paul

I take it all back... Figured it out....using my theory of keeping pressing buttons ...if you open enough folders in you WM library you will find your my pictures file!!!! yee haa........thanks for the help everyone though...........call of the mission stephen.. thanks Paul

Hi mate I tried that......but when expanding the device folders in WE there is only 2 listed....Music and Data....figured it didnt go in music, so copied a trial one into the data folder.....it did copy to the device but not into the photo folder, but purely into the everything else folder.......so i can get pictures across alright, just cant get them into the right area.... will see what Stephen comes up with....even ignoring the mp3 situation..how do you get pictures into WM Player Library.... mmmmmmm Paul cheers
-
Having just got a new MP3 thingy....I have managed to transfer my music collection from Windows media library to the device....no problemo.... Now....The device is also capable of picture storage as well, however when i copy the pictures across to it from My pictures it puts them into a general folder and not into the photo section on the player....the instruction book advises the best way is to sync them from WM player...however I for the life of me cant figure out how to get a picture from My Pictures into the Other media (picture) section on Windows Media Player 10....any ideas.....?? Paul

My sympathy goes to Pauls family and friends. I bought Pauls last Subaru last November and can say he was a pleasure to deal with, a true gent. I met his wife and daughter just before Christmas last year and my thoughts are with them now..... Rest In Peace my friend PaulC -

Hi mate Welcome to the forum.... I will speak to you about your lights tonight when I get in from work...... Might be able to help you out.. Paul -
Getting local dealers involved can only be a good thing, afterall I thought the whole ethos of the club was to build relationships with people/companies who can be of benefit to us all as Subaru drivers. I do hope tom night at Ian Grieve Subaru goes well. This in fairness being the first meet to be held here will test the water I suppose. I know that Charlie and Gavin are both more than willing to make this work. The format will be pretty open and perhaps ideas can be discussed for future meets. Fair play to your Craig for taking the bull by the horns and pushing for more than the standard SIDC discount.....giving me ideas now...... Perhaps a individualy sponsored marquee would be to unique and to locally focussed which would not provide the impact required if the event was out of the dealers catchment area., would a banner showing all of the dealers in the various regions not be considered....that would also plant the idea with the dealers and companies who are not providing support to the club.......
