  1. And you get to toss my salad next time your back home.
  2. ^^^^^ You've got a GTR. We get it.
  3. Bit out of my comfort zone answering these type of questions but will give it a go. 1, Do i take the extended warranty and if so what are the advantages/disadvatages? - No idea, never had a subaru that had a warranty before. 2, Do i have to continue with the metasat tracker ( i want to keep it tracked) or can i switch companies, any ideas? - As above, if they have a lifetime option and you're plan on keeping the car a while go for that. If not switch to a tracker that does give the option. 3. Subaru assist, do i continue or do i just cover it with the likes of the AA/RAC? - RAC for me. You can use about £26 worth of tesco points and get a years get you home cover. Bargain. The warranty would be a nice to have but if you put the cash to any repairs you know where you are. I'd hate to spend all that money, go to make a claim and they fight you over it.
  4. Ok, here she is S-line quattro TDI. Like I said it's hard to compare it with the previous car. While it has more power it doesn't feel anything like as fast or get the girlies looking twice but at my time in life it's the sensible move. Will miss the old black car but on wards and upwards. One last picture to remind myself what I'm missing.
  5. What one was 4wd? (goes to look out of window for stalker)
  6. Fraid not mate. Hard to compare the 2 cars but the extra 2 doors sure make getting the kids in the back easier, and I can hear what they're saying now too.
  7. Well I had a good run with it but all good things must come to an end. I wasn't even thinking of selling but was through at Steve Whitson's and was asked if I'd ever consider selling it. I jokingly said yes and it turned out he was serious. s****. It was an amazing car and a hell of a giggle to drive. The standard looks made folk think they had a chance until you pulled the pin and destroyed them. Coulty and I had a red evo 9 all over the back of us and blew him away on the back roads like it aint no thang. On the other hand it was showing it's age as a 1999 and wasn't the most comfy or quiet cars I've ever owned. Anyway thats all behind me now as the replacement is now sitting outside my front door. All I can say about it is 4wd Turbo (natch) 4 door and approx 150 ft/lb more than the previous car
  8. Allow me to fill in the blanks Twin scroll front mount Boot mounted radiator Air injectors 8 fuel injectors "Built" auto box Not that he's a nutter or anything
  9. Good work mate. Sounds like some cheap fun.
  10. Anything you want mate, and I mean anything
  11. Sort of. It's thicker but very stretchy when heated.
  12. I've been quoted £900 to have mine done.
  13. I'm glad you agree
  14. As has already been mention it depends on what your final goals for the car are. If it'll accept it an stil 7/8/9 topmount will see you to 400bhp with minimal expense and hassle. I never bothered fitting one as I knew it would only been on for a year or so and I wanted to go over that level so I went straight to front mount. Just so you're clear the intercooler wil not give you more pwer as such just allow you to effectively cool the ACT when you do.
  15. Not sure Chris, if I don't come then I get to keep my unbeaten record against you The car needs a new ICSV and I need to make a dump valve fit on it somewhere too. I have a ICSV raedy to go on but the pipework needs to be seen to first. The other thing is on a mag day crail is really busy and you don't get many runs in. I'll see how I feel nearer the time.
  16. I'll check what rattle cans I have in the garage.
  17. First one...... Then hopefully the other.
  18. What system do you have? Isn't there a keypad built into the oe one to allow you to disarm without the fob?
  19. And another thanks to him for schooling me on the features of Haltech.
  20. Wilky was last seen wearing a stetson and high heels while smoking a rod
  21. I probably felt like that a couple of years ago Peter but my personal circumstance have changed (by choice) and now the car takes much more of a back seat than it did before time and money wise. I don't regret what I've done with it as such but don't know if I'd do the same again given the choice. I have a long term plan for the car but nothing is certain.
  22. That would be me - but only on certain days. Other times I think I haven't went far enough. I don't think I've ruined it yet but wouldn't rule it out for the future.
  23. STI may be marginally quicker than a UK rack but unless the car was fitted wit the optional one (would have been a sticker in the back window) I don't think you'd notice it. http://i.ebayimg.com/10/!BlNnz6!CG...!g~~_12.JPG
  24. Just keeping them warm for you mate. Not sure I'll ever actually use them again, then again.
  25. I doubt you'd notice the difference unles it was the optional quick rack.
