  1. Welcome to the forum []
  2. You can pay in by bank or credit card (AFIK)
  3. I'm with Belldirect, who are consitantly good for me. A plan are pretty good too, and were always best for my highly mod'd Skyline.
  4. p.s. Is that a Bryant home?
  5. Very nice. Have fun and drive safe []
  6. They seemt o be using Skodas a lot these days. Clever tactics I suppose, as I wouldn't normally suspect one, I have to admit !!
  7. Depends on budget really!! How much you got to spend?
  8. Quite common apparently, although I've never had it. I've heard a good cure is to do a few hard, high rev launches, and that 'cleans' it up. Can't advise from personal experience, but I've heard this from more than one person. HTH Dave
  9. And some pics to get you in the mood... http://community.webshots.com/album/548370358dylNWS Check out the Porsche Limo !! http://image53.webshots.com/153/4/56/30/26...60eNhIWf_ph.jpg []
  10. Hmmmm, good point - think I'll get the waxoyl out tonight !!!! []
  11. Will be in Brisbane too, so perhaps more likely to meet up there actually!!
  12. Have fun mate. I'll be out Sydney direction in May/June - will you be there then?? Can't be ar5ed working out the dates from your post - sorry !! Perhaps catch up for a VB at the Rocks ? Dave
  13. Stephen beat me to it !! Click on "quote" and you'll see the exact syntax - if you can't get square brackets on your keyboard, just cut and paste from our ones. Dave
  14. I'll have a try...
  15. Gorgeous ! [H]
  16. Seem to be quite a few tickets flying around recently - watch out guys !! Sorry to hear about this though mate - keep phoning round differnet insurers though - some companies don't seem to mind as much as others. [] Dave
  17. I love the 22B, and at the moment it would be the only car I'd replace the P1 with. Like you say, cat D will scare some people off, but for such a rare machine, I think you should be ok - particularly if you've got the documented history of a good repair. At the end of the day, every car that's imported from Japan (unless new) could quite easily have been damaged and repaired and there's no record in the UK. Let me know when you're selling, and f you'd be interested in a trade with an R33 Skyline !! [] Dave
  18. Welcome aboard.. Watch the events section for meetings so you can meet some of us in real life. If you're brave enough !!!! [] Dave
  19. They are relatively easy to fit, but you shouldn't really need it if you're not changing exhausts or induction. Saying that, I have fitted one to my standard P1, but then they do have a bit of a reputation!! Dave
  20. I suspect it was running more than 1 bar if it was getting 470bhp, so perhaps the boost controller's not holding the boost down correctly. I was getting around 430bhp at 1 bar, and that was a 2.7 litre! I'll just need to make sure I get along to the next one to have a chat!
  21. Anyone know anything about the Skyline? What's it running - 1.2 bar on steel internal tubbies?
  22. Probably less than 10% 95Ron in your tank now, so you should be fine. What car and mods are you running?
  23. LOL, yes very important Kev!! A bit more secure that way too!
  24. Didn't realise you'd posted here too, but yep, you need to get upside down with your head near the pedals to see what you're doing properly!! Torch is definitely recommended as you say !!!
  25. I've never had to on the harnesses that I've had. Hmmm, you could be right!!! I took mine apart so I could route the cables through and tie wrap them to appropriate places so they weren't flapping around. It's only 2 screws IIRC. I mounted my TT on the little ledge just under the speedo/tacho etc., so taking the cowling off made this all easier. I guess if you can see the plugs I refered to earlier, and you can route without taking the cowl off, then feel free!
