  1. Just sold a house an have some left over 'bits' - Single Bed (with matress). Divan style style with 2 drawers. Was in a spare room and has barely been used. £40 ono. - Pine French dresser. Very nice and was very expensive, but surplus to requirements now. approx 3 feet wide, 6 foot high with 2 drawers in the base and 2 cupboards under that. If anyone's interested I'll dig out my camera and take some pics. Was in the region of 900 quid new, but don't want anything like that for it. Post here or PM me if you're intererested and we can work something out. - 4 foot fish tank and cabinet. Tank is in good condition, but cabinet could do with a bit of a clean up. It's wood and could probably do with a sand and revarnish. Not wanting much for it though, so make me an offer for the tank and I'll throw the cabinet in free. More to come later probably, but let me know if any of the above is of interest. Dave
  2. Grrrrrrr !!!!!!
  3. << It was parked up at Youngs Garage.....I think the guy was only 20 years old and not insured... >> Glad he's off the road then!!! Hope they lock him up and throw away the key. I've got no time for uninsured drivers - just imagine if he'd hit your price and joy while he was out learning how to drive!
  4. Electric or nitro?
  5. I've had too much going on at work and home to do any more to be honest - a month away on business didn't help!! I've had advice to not let it drop however so I do intend on taking it further.
  6. Could have done with her 4 months ago!! My dealer made a complete joke out of the extended warranty I'd paid for and have in the process put me off buying a new Subaru for life. Silly move!!
  7. Quite right mate. That's what a warranty is for !!
  8. Bad news mate. Hope you get it sorted quickly. Which dealer is it away to?
  9. Welcome aboard
  10. << LOL Dave youve got too much time on your hands m8 >> Wish that was true !! Was wortking till 5:30 this morning, and back in the office by 9:15 !! Work is mental just now, but 5 minutes light relief was just what I needed !

  12. << Where did you lads get these stickers??? Cheers Del. >> Richard Burns stickers...
  13. Also note, the only places that have twin engined karts are Knockhill (I think) and Raceland in Gladsmuir/Tranent. The other tracks that have been mentioned are indoor circuits with single engines karts. For organisation and quality of circuit, nothing beats Raceland, but I understand it's a bit of a treck for anyone from the North. If anyone doesn't know, it's around 15 mins from the Edinburgh Ikea. I'll race anywhere though! Dave

John S (Aberdeen) I'm ok with the weight based system, as long as it's fairly worked out and people are actually weighed. There were some very skinny looking 16 stoners last time!! I think it needs a slight tweak as well, as it was overly disadvantaging the lighter drivers last time (it should also be thrown out if it's raining, as being heavy helps in the rain). Looking forward to this ....
  15. Switch on your PM facility and I'll give you my opinion of Nobles customer service Joe.
  16. Superb pics - looked like a great day. Sorry I couldn't make it. Dave
  17. Go for it Johnny... it's about time you did something to that poor car!! Doesn't suit you at all!
  18. Price seems fair to me to be honest Dave. Price new from Subaru is 498+vat, without an ecutek licence !! Even if mapping costs £200, you'd still be ~£200+ quid better off than th current full price, and you'd still have your original ECU. Would be tempted if it fitted my car!
  19. What car/spec was it mapped for out of interest Dave??
  20. I guess it all comes down to how much the remap will cost. John used to do it for circa £100, so it would make Dave's price £300 - pretty reasonable and you still have your original ECU for selling the car on. Getting the 2.5 map would be a good route forward though, Kenny's right there. At least then someone could run around in the car safely until they could get booked in for a full mapping session. The 2.5 map does run on a completely standard car, and does make a noticeable difference to the performance Dave
  21. 22B with the P1 a close second.
  22. Looked like a good selection of motors. What was under the bonnet of the min ??
  23. << Sod em! There is talk of a Knockhill boycott over their attitude! << Why - what's going on ???
  24. << Where were you in Oz? I'm off over there on the 14th. Wanna buy a wagon , an a3 tdi, a honda cr-v, a vw camper or a porsche 924s >> Toured around a bit. Sydney, Dubbo, Melbourne, Ballarat and Brisbane. I'll definitely arrange some more time off while I'm there next time though !!! Where are you off to?
  25. << Hope you had a good holiday, and welcome home. Hope you've brought the sun back with you >> It was more work than holiday unfortunately, but managed a few days off here and there. Weather was pretty changeable over there though. Beautiful one day then thunder/lightening/hail storms the next !! Certainly made me feel at home at times !!
