Shelly
I had Scott Lowe flaps on my last scooby and have Scoobyword one on my present car. In my opinion the Scott lowe ones were far better - a wee bit more expensive but the flaps and fitting kit were far better quality.......
I am going to book a 1 on 1 package with one of the Knockhill instructors (25 laps in your own car) later in the year before I venture on the track on my own I think......
Got mapped today at long last......
333 horsees and 324 torquees - what a difference!!
Getting mapped in the snow is for winners
Now I just need to find some roads without snow and ice on them
I have much the same set up - 3" turbo back with STi decatted up-pipe, walbro, panel filter, sti topmount, 550's and and a TD05 16G. It's getting remapped on Monday so keep an eye on the forums for what figures it makes.
Andy Forrest TD05 16G turbo
STi topmount I/C
STi alloy I/C piping
STi 8 bonnet scoop and undertray (and some headlight eyelids)
I/C water spray
550cc injectors
De-catted (heatwrapped) STi upipe
Tarox sport Japan slotted and drilled disks with Mintex Extreme pads on the front and new standard discs and pads on the back
TEIN Superstreets (already fitted)
Fast road geometry set up
All being fitted in 8 days time.........
Remap from Andy F - booked for the 19th
Then that's my mods finished for a while........at least until the Summer
Higgy,
I done a tandem jump from 10,000 ft over Cyprus a few years ago with an RAF freefall instructor - what a rush!! There is no better feeling than when you're plumitting towards the ground before the 'chute opens - magic.
I only got some pics of me smiling once I'd landed........
Took the plunge when I got the chance of a set of nearly new TEIN Superstreets (3600 miles) from a car at SW Motorsport. Got them fitted today and already I am well chuffed with them - need to get my geometry sorted before I throw it about too much
Cheers for all the advice......
I've got a de-catted STi up-pipe just about to be fitted to mine (01 Bugeye WRX).
I went for that one on the advice of James Greenwood (@ greenwood racing developments) he said he had tried a few others on his track car and the STi one was about the best (for what I wanted). He removed the heat sheild and wrapped it for me - he said the heat sheild is prone to corrosion/damage.
It doesn't get fitted until early January so can't really tell you what it's like fitted.
