    Wtf

Well...... Thats a thing..... Can we burn it now?
  2. Looks like it was an amazing day! Was tempted by this, but I think Rallyday will attract a 'better' (for me) crowd. I'm not a huge fan of chrome
  3. Dat Banter! But seriously, nice car. Bet the rides nice too, almost as nice as my 2.0 hawk But with an uglier face and snobby badge. As has been mentioned sporadically across the thread, you may be able to get there faster, but any of your old Scooby's would get there every time. Unlike the AMG if it snows/wet/muddy/fieldish/anything other than the 'prime' (heh heh, F1 tyre joke) conditions. Keep trying to beat the jap crap, you never will
  4. They need to get this guy in on the next Transformers film. Sort out the battle for earth in a drift battle between Optimus Prime and whichever deceptacon (sp) decides to invade earth. Defo a good watch
  5. When you get it of course Oh, and welcome
  6. Oh my goodness! Thats awful luck! Will keep an ear to the ground for you, although it might be a bit far away. Really hope you get a new heart in the wee beastie. Thoughts are with you
  7. Got to admit to a few scooby related dreams, mostly about driving one through rally stages though. Shh. I'm not obsessed with racing -_-
  8. I think if the guy or any of his family or associates go so near as touch the internet, they'll find more messages of support than they could ever read. Hopefully he'll feel the care of the world and pull through. He's not allowed to go yet, his voice is too awesome. Best tweet I've seen on it so far: @MSAUK Fav Murray moment: Damon Hill won the F1 Championship & Murray said "I'm going to have to stop because I've got a lump in my throat" — Alison Stallard (@AliStallard1) June 18, 2013
  9. Ah, okay. I know a few decent roads for a blast. Best to do at night though, as there are a few blind corners. Spotted a silver bugeye today, but was a saloon. Thought I'd seem my first IRL SIDC member for a minute!
  10. Country roads around medway? SIR! YOU MUST SHOW ME THESE ROADS! Down by Cuxton way perhaps...?
  11. One thing a forum member learnt on the VAG community I was part of (although this may well be stating the obvious, other not so savvy people may look through this thread) Don't make a fool of yourself. Revving, showboating, etc etc. Just don't bother, above guy got a slap round the back of the head from one of the older members when he jumped out smiling that his stock 1.4 can spin the front wheels up. As I say, not saying anything against any one person, but with the presumed car culture in the UK; loud music, showy displays, Chavs. I felt it was worth a mention.
  12. Not having Sky, I didn't see. I like the ides of a boxing match to settle arguments. That'd make the "Mercedes vs. FIA" Battle more interesting for sure!
  13. Here's the latest from the media coverage From my side of things, I put Sergio squarely in the blame for this. The only reason he'd got away with it twice before is because Alonso has too much to lose by defending one place, and obviously Jenson's wiser than to cause a ruckus within his own team (As much as he said he wasn't expecting it after the race etc, I think by his smile, it was apparent he knew it was going to happen eventually, blah blah blah). I also think Kimi's line; "I mean sometimes you have to be with some guys, because you cannot trust them. If I take the top maybe five guys, you trust them, and you know if you are there they are not going turn into you, or they are going to race fair," sums it up. Some are comparing Sergio's driving to the likes of Ayrton Senna. With one major difference; Ayrton Senna could drive the wheels off a car, and get those last few tenths from a lap. Perez is just driving like he owns the track (BMW driver style) and is relying solely on the fact that he has observant, good drivers around him to barge in where he has no right. The incident, in my opinion, at Monaco, is his just desserts for driving like he's in a low rent kart, rather than the multi-million pound Mclaren he's been gifted. Discuss? Or am I the only F1 fan here now?
  14. Oh, really? Hmm. Will have to do a bit more looking at lunch, because I didn't notice any other hooks anywhere. Would seem a bit pointless just having the one.
  15. And a wider panned one for context: What on earth is it for? I thought it was a self adhesive jobby someone had added/which had fallen off, but it has a hole in the carpet (shows how often I wind the drivers seat back all the way!) Answers on a postcard, please.
  16. I CANNOT wait for this to be finished. The bodywork looks spot on! Good to see a classic restored right You must be chuffed seeing it come through it all.
  17. With the post, or me? I'm of the same opinion as you Greg (although I may have mistyped my post), and have on occasion, happened to be on the inside lane when the rest of the traffic slows below your speed. There's never an excuse, and there never will be. I hope the plod to pick up on this, because it'd be amazing to be able to drive with people driving correctly!
  18. What sun.... *looks outside* ARRGGHH, IT BURRNNNNSSS. I am an unashamed nerd. The sun and I get on about as well as a gummy bear in a microwave. Reasons why I want the scoob's windows tinted at some point >_<
  19. Click Here for Banter My own personal opinion resembles that of a certain comment half way down the comments thread. Correction; couldn't find the original post, but this one suits if anything, slightly better. There's no excuse for it, and its my opinon that part of the reasons speed limits cannot be increased on the motorway network (I asid part) is because of this selfish, ignorant habit, which reduces a three lane motorway to essentially a single carriageway. Discuss
  20. I'm pretty sure its the same from a womans perspective! Car ownership is a lot like relationships, you suck up the bad bits, when the other half (and I aim it at men as much as women) is being an <insert appropriate insult here>, for the times when, to use the car analogy, you happen to be driving down the right road, with the right weather, and the right song on, and there's no other place you'd rather be. I've had it a few times already with my impreza, just remember it'll all be worth it in a couple of weeks time now the suns here. Just keep the tunes playing and the road will find you
  21. Lol. You think THATS wide? You should see how wide some of the drivers round here think their Fiesta's and Panda's are!
  22. Looks like its been taken down. I get a #404 error when I go to it d'rectly
  23. That was my impression from the last thread. Would a Canterbury-way location suit? I believe there were a few users around the coast, and Canters is about dead centre of 'Kent' as in the main part. Got some lovely scenery for pics too
