  1. Repeat for a newer member? I've been loving this conversation! Haha.
  2. Ahh, ROC? I have a friend on there. Heard there's a nice bit of banter on there! Especially warm welcome, and feel free to drag any members from the ROC out if they're up for it. We're all car guys (and girls). The south is pretty quiet for meets and the like on here. Most users go to ScoobyNet down here, because.... *shrug* they don't like adult conversation, at a guess.
  3. That is one beautiful scoob Stu. Shame you only just signed up, Would've been awesome to have met you at Rallyday a couple of weeks ago
  4. This is the plan to end all plans. And I don't have to drive as far as you lads! W/R the topic though. I feel honestly as though the bannings etc is a necessary part of a functioning forum. Unmoderated, you end up with a climate like SN. You have to accept that there a certain standards that need to be upheld. If that means a relatively small club that sometimes struggles, so be it. Rather that than every, for want of a better expression, idiot with a beat up old impreza who googles 'Subaru owners club' and comes straight here. I get the impression from the convo's I've had with mods that what they're looking for is an active core of users that hold the club's high standard. Not for large numbers, although that would be nice: Quality over quantity, and when you look at it that way, the 'over'moderation makes sense.
  5. Rainex is good stuff then? Often looked, never bought.
  6. And yet, you came to Rallyday and kept me the only n/a. Unbelievable. SMH
  7. I think that's 'wishful thinking' on Mugs' part
  8. Lol! I got a month, right? Are these pics we've taken ourselves or found on t'nternet? Because the latter will be a lot easier.
  9. Challenge accepted you're right. I chose a short forum name on purpose not strictly for forum games, but forum chats
  10. Who here has an Android phone? I made a wee app to take you straight to the forums if anyone wants it?

  11. Can only repeat what has already been said, welcome, get some pics up and more info. Good to see another new member on here
  12. Bit too early after Rallyday for me to get there unfortunately. Hopefully if I'm on a bit more money next year, I'll be up for it
  13. This should be in the publicity leaflets and stuff "Be aware buying a Subaru will never end with just the car."
  14. That, sir, is one fine automobile. You should be proud!
  15. Torque is free, and the Bluetooth OBD adapters are around £3 inc. postage. Only reason I bought it
  16. I take that as a no.... If you have an Android phone, download the Torque Application, and get a bluetooth OBD adapter off eBay or similar. There's a whole load of functionality to it, but you can read, research, and reset fault codes with it Easiest way to deal with it from here. Especially as the 'fault' is so insignifiacnt.
  17. Have you got any kinda of OBD reader? Whereabouts are you based, as an EML can be anything from a malfunctioning sensor to a hole in the exhaust.
  18. Its called a false positive, basically someones changed something somewhere in, possibly an advertisement on the page, or any small graphic path, and Google's considered it malware. Don't worry about it, we get it all the time at the College. Only time to pay attention to it is sites you don't use regularly. We had another thread on it recently, it should 'fix' itself at some point.
  19. Dinnae matter how old you are, you're still a laddie. Welcome to the forums, and Subaru ownership. Whereabouts you from etc etc? We need pics of the car btw. Standard procedure *tips hat*
  20. http://www.appsgeyser.com/590336 So, I made the above 'app'. Its in quotation marks because its basically a webpage without all the browser stuff around the outside. BUT, its a clickable, usable app which you can put on your homescreen etc etc, and, with the support of the majority, and/or admins, publishing to Google Play will put a SIDC logo in your app drawer too... Just a suggestion/option for those with Androids. Made it in appsgeyser, check the main site if you don't trust the link
  21. There were reports (I'm from down this way) of some drivers doing 90+mph (Actual report was 100, but salt added for intenet's sake), in visibility not much more than 20m. Agreed with all the above comments. Most drivers don't pay any attention to the conditions, or even the cars around them. To the extent that if I stumble across someone who does drive correctly, I tend to stay behind them, just because its so nice to see Sad, I know, but thats just how bad it is down here.
  22. Just experimenting, but the pics aren't that small on photobucket.... edit: slightly better, but tony's right, that resolution is terrible. What did you take it on? Wheels look spot on from this angle though
  23. Lol. I'm going Rallyday, but will go down and back on the day
  24. Yeah, thought there might be some hate for that, but its EXACTLY how I would be if I were in either of the seats. If you can't keep with the pace, get out of the way. No point in holding everyone else up! Bearing in mind they would have lost at least a minute by that point. All came to nothing in the end anyway due to the crash
