Is this a serious post John? Is this really about the car or are there other factors at work here? You have customised your car so much that it defines you now and noone will give you anything near its real value. If you are serious (and I have some doubts about that) then you have to address why the car is making you unhappy. You say you aren't happy on the track with it. Why is that? Maybe you need to improve your own performance rather than the cars'. I do agree about using a modified car on public roads though. My road cars have all been standard. If you want to compete you need a competition car.

Deep in darkest Lanarkshire a 2-door Type-R is defying attempts to have a Sparco weld-in cage fitted. I am informed that the cage is fouling at the top of the B-pillar by a millimetre or so. Is there any difference in the 4-door and 2-door classic shells ? (this one is a 97-98) Has anyone else fitted a Sparco weld-in cage on a classic? Your response is eagerly awaited.

I can recommend the traction of a sport in the snow. I pulled vans out of ditches with a sport special. Towed no bother at all.
