How do they compare folks? I have heard the 2.5s don't burble like the 2.0s but I haven't paid any attention before but it may become relevant.

Am I the only one who thinks that speed cameras CAN be used in a good way? There is a junction onto a bypass outside the village I live in that is a major accident blackspot and is screaming out for a speed camera. One similar to the Laurencekrk 50mph camera would be ideal. 30mph cameras in the town shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

Thanks for that guys. I hadn't paid any attention to road tax before and had no idea what band my cars were in. In essence unless you have a band g car it isn't going to hurt much. 2p on fuel as well mind. As for the income tax, I just did some calcs and by getting rid off the 10% bracket it means that the more you earn the better it will be. I will be £50 better off. however the upper band is going to changed in 2009 and that means fair amount better off for those that earn over £43k although NI payments are going up as well. Confused? you soon will be.

DR Motorsport got it spot on. GpB were built in limited numbers. 200 for first batch then 20 off evolution models. Hence the EVO tag. if you watch the cars bounce about you can see how poor the suspension was compared to a modern WRC. tyre technology and transmission systems make todays cars much faster even with half the hp. I was at the Ingliston event and I have a few photos of that somewhere can't remember what year though. seems i am a bit older than Squirrel

Well the big waves are past and I was rocked in my bed. the big bangs can still get a bit alarming though [] No damage on the 704 but I would imagine someone somewhere will be missing a part or two. Shaken but not stirred. Personally I reckon driving to work everyday is much more dangerous than working out here.
