  1. Well its that time of year again. You know the time when the "better endowed" teams in the league cast their wallets around to unsettle players in the "diddy" teams. I suppose it is hard to turn down a huge pay rise but I hope one player in this position remembers who stuck by him when he was languishing in the training room with a broken foot for a year. Anyway apart from that the mighty DUFC are 10 unbeaten and clear third with no significant injuries so far and a cup semi against celtic to look forward to. Pretty happy really.
  2. The reason rangers defended badly is because they aren't used to it. UTD put them under pressure and they couldn't cope. I would say UTD's first was a cracker of a finish from Sandaza. Davis's goal was also a cracker. All in all a great game.
  3. I wasn't offended but I didn't think it was that funny and not worth repeating. if you really want to be offended watch Mock the week. I got one of Clarkson's books for christmas and gave it up because his nonsense just annoyed me.
  4. No, but I got diverted from the fatal one near Falkland last night. It is dangerous out there people. Please be careful.
  5. Random flying Scoob from an unknown region in an unknown place at an unknown time.
  6. First round of fixtures completed and it has turned out pretty much as everyone expected. Tic and Gers out in front and UTD, Motherwell and Killie the best of the rest with no-one really very far away from there. UTD had a poor start but it has just got better and better. Pleased that we haven't lost to the OF but not so pleased about dropping points to Hamilton. Our defence is the 2nd best in the league and our midfield is a match for anyone else's. Just need to sort out our scoring and we will be a complete team. Europe and a cup are definite possibilities this year.
  7. Aaaaaarrggghhh. Oh well I would have been happy with a point beforehand.
  8. Big game tonight. First game since McCurrygate and Murray has been stirring the pot with the interview in the Times. Gers are unbeaten at home forever and Utd are unbeaten in 7. Could be a spicy one. Unfortunately Utd are missing our best striker and I think that will be the difference. RIP Miles
  9. I just want to say what a great job has been done by the "Gathering" organisers. How are you ever going to get back to normal? (Apart from Squiggle of course who has never been mormal). OUTSTANDING!
  10. So you are still waving your rod around in public then mannie-with-many? I have one so big I need both hands to swing it. Really!
  11. Staggered down that road a few times on my way back from the St Machar. happy days!
  12. Well I was on at 6am and I will be on until 6pm. Just one more full shift to go though.
  13. Well 5 wins on the bounce certainly dragged us up the table. We seem to be defending a lot better but I think our strikers need to sharpen up yet b efore we can be proper challengers. I think we can give the 'gers a decent game at Ibrox though.
  14. There are many games that I have wished to have been at but todays game is most certainly one of them. This is the opportunity to give Eddie Thompsion the send off he deserves and Tannadice will be hoaching today with the £5 entry fee. I am offshore Englandshire but my thoughts will be in Dundee today. I am hoping for a great atmosphere a good game and hopefully 5 in a row.
  15. I TOLD YOU THAT MTB BIKES ARE THE WORK OF THE DEVIL!!!!!!!
  16. I too had a hankering for Audis a few years back but a few test drives convinced me otherwise. I have done a few miles in a S6 and it was very fast and smooth but it didn't have the chuckability of a scoob. I wasn't enterrained by it as it just did what it was told in an efficient manner. Haven't tried a RS version but because there is such a price difference I knew i was going to stick with the scoob. The only thing that might tempt me would be a M3 or another Alpina but that is only because I know how to drive RWDs. How many on here have gone Audi only to come back to scoobs?
  17. Eddie's death was a sad day but it wasn't unexpected as he has been ill for some time now. I am sure thatthe legacy of stability that he has left at Tannadice was a big comfort to him. He will be missed.
  18. oooooohhhh my blood is boiling Bain the plunderer Now we all know that the OF are bigger and have lots more fans but the people who exploit their the fans the most are the OF themselves. This plan has created such bad feeling it is becoming bigger than the football. I think the man is a dangerous greedy fool. In an ideal world you want to respect your rivals and not hate your enemy nor indeed covet the little that your rivals may have. The SPL may not be perfect but all this is doing is allowing the worst kind of business dealings to become the norm. it is time the SPL took a hand and laid this all to rest ASAP. Remember the SPL is about football and is not a giant game of Top trumps.
  19. Couldn't agree more Al. Whats happening along your end of the road? All sorts of bad rumours rumbling about. I would really hate DFC to go under (unlike many DABs of course).
  20. Mountain bikes are the devils own work. I have the aches to prove it. Just say no.
  21. Aaaaaarrrggghhh choppers! Need less time in choppers and more time in Scoob!
  22. Nothing like a wee dose of reality to keep you sharp Gus. I still reckon you will get there. The Terrors got their 4th win in a row yesterday and we are now getting the results that our play deserves. next week we are off to the stadium with the warmest hospitality in the land (about 37 deg C) so we will see how they will fare there. I was confident last time and got McCurry on fine form. So who knows what to expect apart from Broadfoot kicking the **** out of Conway.
