  1. I got my tensioner and pulleys from camskill, perfect and cheaper than subaru. Johnny
  2. Doesn't sound bad. What is he fitting for £230? if it's discs, pads, lines and springs that's a great price but it will be o.e spec pattern parts and personally i would be very wary about some of this, (ask Playsatan). Oe discs from camskill (decent discs) and yellow stuff pads (one of the cheaper decent pads) would cost around £150 alone. As for the cause of the smoke you'll prob never know but if it's gone now... sorted. i rekon you've not been had. Johnny
  3. They are top of the range strobe neons with 6 different sequences, apparently used to distract fellow competitors.. or so i'm told. Johnny
  4. Oh Yes! for i am still the knock count king!! Johnny
  5. Yeah i'd say white too, dunno if you wheels would suit white though. Johnny.
  6. You want a clean car? Take it out in the rain..... Sorted. Johnny
  7. I'm sorry guys, i just don't get it. It doesn't even have foglights and one of the headlights has fallen out. Do you have any pics of it at night with the neons lit?? Johnny
  8. Hopefully it's better than the baffle plate, you can get a dry sump system at the mo, rcms will sort you out. Johnny
  9. 95 sti2 in silver with 300bhp?? Aparently it's quite a nice car too Johnny
  10. i know what you mean, i've been tempted away many time but somehow i still have a scoob. Although i don't agree with it only being fun in the wet, i can induce power oversteer in the dry if i want to and as i have a classic i sit quite low. It was a westfield and a lotus elise that nearly had me changing. If you still fancy a scoob, a classic type r would suit sir.. Johnny
  11. No, we thought we had, but it has a very slight ( and i mean slight) leak at the mo, but nothing thats going to stop proceedings, well mot, geometry and mapping. Got a few ideas to try. Johnny
  12. Personally, i couldn't give a sh@t Johnny You know the only weak point on you car and it'll be sorted asap.
  13. RL7's are the best rim but i would go for the rotas too m8. Johnny
  14. If it's looking good and going well don't worry about it, just get out and enjoy it. Johnny
  15. I think you'd be hard pushed to get 4k, you can get a my95 sti for that nowadays. Wether to keep it depends on 1 how much you like it and 2 what condition it's in. As for fitting an engine, it's pretty easy on a scoob if you've got some mechanical experience and you get loads of help and advice on here if you get stuck. Johnny
  16. rebuild the engine and keeping it would be the most cost efficient option. The rebuilt engine won't get you much more (if any) money than the same car with a good original engine, May get you more interest though. Wether to sell it as is is tricky, you may get a grand less for it but the price of building the engine and your time may easily mount to more. if you break it one of the most expensive bits to sell (engine) is worthless so it's what all the other parts add up to and mind you'll have to spend time stripping it. If you really want a newer car my opinion would be to cut your losses and sell as is. If you like it and wouldn't mind keeping it, fixing would be the cheapest way. Obviously just my opinion. Johnny
  17. Looking at the pics again not only are the pipes the wrong way round (should be fixed now) but the turbo is far too small m8. I think we may need to do a rethink. Johnny.
  18. Pmsl... well spotted guys. kenny your right, just need to swap both over. Johnny
  19. BRING IT ON!!!!
  20. It is finished m8
  21. To think it all started with...... Johnny, "i think i'll change my turbo, won't be a big job, maybe a couple of hours m8" lol... Colin, It's a pleasure as always m8, although i'm still not happy with everything but the rest can be done whenever as it's just wee tidying jobs to make me feel happy. Just wish it didn't take us as long, even if the actual hours spent on it wasn't that much, (bloody families!!). It looks even better in the flesh guys. Oh, and for all who remember this car it's even louder now You certainly know how to keep the neighbours sweet m8. Johnny.
