  1. N1 TUT was up for sale a while back. Don't know if it ever sold. It was cheap but as you prob know needs some tlc. Johnny
  2. Cheers m8, but i managed to find some threebond. Johnny
  3. Has anyone got any three bond that i could nick off em and replace or buy from them? As i've got the engine out at the mo i was gonna throw a new sump on but i forgot to pick some up. Cheers, Johnny. Or does anyone know anything else that i could pick up from halfrauds thats just as good?
  4. Yes it can. Think you may be hard pushed to find one for sale seperately though. Give Coulty on here a pm, he may have one. Johnny
  5. Best way is really to get on on the rollers. Hypertech and dastek both come highly recommended on here. Johnny
  6. I got a recon unit from east end radiators, glasgow for £112 and had no probs since. Johnny
  7. Zero sport ecu's are top quality in japan. Unfortunately a lot of them run aggressive maps and don't like our fuel (even v power isn't good enough). which leads to det and engine failure. Get it checked out asap to make sure it's running sweet. When i first got my car it felt really strong but was detting like mad, so much so the dyno operater thought i had put 95 ron in it. Anyway nice car, just make sure it's running sweet. johnny
  8. If it's a facelift you can simply put them on top of the dash in a pod. If it's pre facelift then you can still get a pod but imho they don't look right. each to their own though. I would personally work something out in the centre consul. Johnny
  9. Looking good Peter, just don't blow this one up.... Johnny
  10. Very nice m8, saw it pulling out last night. i like it with the white wheels. Johnny
  11. not too shabby, looks like he was playing safe at the harbour though... I think the car sounded awesome. Johnny
  12. your aircon matrix is in there m8, but it's prob your heater matrix if it smells of coolant. Johnny
  13. That's the idea behind the twin dump downpipe, it's supposed to speed up gas flow. If it works or not is debatable but all i know is my magnex twin dump gave my car a healthy increase over the oe pipe. Johnny
  14. Decat is the way to go for power but keep you old downpipe for mot time. Hayward and scott get a good rep, the quality of their systems is very good. Another company which are good are meerkat. They can do a system to your spec but i don't know if they do mail order. Johnny.
  15. If you don't need to change stick with what you got but if you're changing anyway go 3", you won't notice any difference with spool but it's easier to get power from a 3" system. The downpipe your using will make the biggest difference anyway. I run a full 3" system from turbo back with a td05 16g and it spools fine (ask Playsatan or Coulty). Made 290bhp at 0.9bar. Johnny
  16. Not my car, i build other peoples cars. That way i can make the mistakes on theirs... Johnny
  17. A couple of things that spring to mind are: junking aircon modifying alternator bracket making up new alternator belt tensioner making belt idler pulley moving coilpack if fitted and more. As everyone says it's not really for more power it's more to cut down on pipe length for less lag. As for pics, i think there will be a thread on here soon about it. Johnny
  18. Hi all, the vectra needs the aircon needs regassing. The stealers want £95 to do it. Does anyone know anywhere better/cheaper? Cheers, Johnny.
  19. Camskill are quite good.. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m10b0s2605p0 Johnny.
  20. Check your suspension bushes while your changing the shocks inc. diff carrier as they'll prob be shot by now. As for the engine if it was me i'd change the belt inc. tensioner and idlers then just give it regular oil changes and treat it properly (i.e. warm it up and cool it down every run). Cheers, Johnny
  21. Was gonna come up with some crap remark but i can't be bothered. Awesome car Andy! Enjoy m8. Johnny
  22. Seems to be trend, Coulty's, Drb's and mine were used as wedding cars too. Sitting at 90 on the way to lock lomond with ribbons flapping about. Ended up pictured in some wedding mag too. johnny.
  23. Tie a rope round said bumper, then tie the other end to a lampost or tree. For front bumper reverse back at speed (drive forward at speed for rear) and voila... 1 bumper removed. Johnny
  24. i saw this one myself. Thought it would be nice. Only thing is, check out pic 2. it looks to me like the body kit is bodged onto the sill. Or is it just me?/ Johnny
  25. I keep tellin ya.... Your getting nowhere near my ar$e ya cheeky monkey Johnny
