  1. Very nice Joe. I do like a white bugeye . Seen this a few years ago up on the ramps at Hypertech and it's a nice conversion fitted with loads of gucci kit, enjoy mate.
  2. Certainly puts a finishing touch to the front end on the bugs Kenny. We need pics buddy .
  3. Looks nice & clean matey
  4. Welcome along Lenny, bit of trouble accessing the pics of your car though. Keeps saying Access denied?? LOL, the WR Blue with Gold rims doesn't really narrow it down much tbh
  5. Try and find a JDM bugeye STi wagon. Then have fun without the need to tinker with it, and all the luggage capabilities you'll need for the wee yin .
  6. Not the best of shots to show wheels, but hopefully you'll get the idea?
  7. Very nice Johnny, glad you suppressed your Dark Side tendancies .
  8. Glad to hear it, Dunc is a good honest guy and will tell it to you straight, which is refreshing rather than being told what they think you want to hear .
  9. 225/45r17 are a direct fit instead of the standard 215/45r17 . I've used them on my old Blob wrx without any issues, and the sidewall profile is still the same .
  10. Soak it in wd40 overnight tonight to give you a fighting chance tomorrow mate .
  11. do a google search for "vf28 turbo max power" and trawl through the info & feedback folk have posted on tinterweb for various combinations using that turbo. Google is your friend . One thing's for sure, you'll not go far wrong with Andy .
  12. If you believe other people's figures then I'd say you'd be looking at anywhere between 330-350bhp, depending on how aggressive the map is. Who's doing the remap for you?
  13. Not sure the name of it, but probably the one and same, bouncy-bouncy in a transit though . I used to go there with my motorbikes, and it's just wheelie popping heaven .
  14. The road reminds me of the small windy road just past Faslane Naval Base, we called "The Washboard" .
  15. I agree Gus & Paul, from what I remember it is like a few miles of constant whoops & berms to use a bmxing analogy .
  16. You need to be very careful with that road Neil. It's a very popular route with many cyclists. I've cycled to and around there many times. It links the two major outdoor centres of the Trossachs, Aberfoyle & Loch Katrine, so please treat it with caution. It is a great road, without a doubt , and I remember seeing some youtube footage on here a year or two back of someone driving very fast and taking risks along there, but all I'm saying is just to treat that route with a little caution .
  17. Another day, another couple of mods . Finally managed to fit my 4-pots & new discs/pads. Although I did struggle to bleed them properly, and still very, very spongy. Might need to trundle very slowly somewhere to get them done properly tomorrow? I also got the 17" ST2's delivered today, so on they went. Makes a huge difference for the better in my opinion. Just need to save up for some coilovers, or fit some lowering springs in the meantime....anyone got some spare???? Also managed to get a few horsey pics for Cathy here, I think even the horse approves :
  18. Got it from U.S. ebay and just measured up the centre horn button and got a set of STi wheel centres to match it . It's a few cm smaller than the Nardi one was and just getting used to the size of it just now. It does feel good though.
  19. I'd 2nd that too Paul. Dunc knows his stuff .
  20. Cheers Bobby. Miss your RA as well mate. I enquired about buying it straight back off Thommo, but nae reply , he must be chuffed to bits with your old RA mate . Your car still steals the show on the SIDC stand by the looks of things though, lol .
  21. Of course they are!!
  22. Cheers mucker. Not to everyone's taste I know, but the stickers were a factory option which this car once had on, so just returning it to the way it rolled off the production line . That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it .
  23. Cheers Andy . What about now???????
  24. Great pics, and looks like a cracking day was had by all .
  25. Decided to do a bit on the 555 today. Removed the "SUBARU" from the boot. Removed the crappy Sparco pedal covers and fitted much better WRC ones. Fitted the new Speedline ST2 16" winter wheels so I could clean up the standard STi gold ones ahead of selling them. Finally I gave the interior a shampoo and scrubbed the exterior ahead of fitting the 555 rally decal pack tomorrow. Here's a few pics, but should have a load more of the decal day tomorrow .
