  1. The King is dead! Long live the King! Nice one Kenny . Edit: King Kenny
  2. Could you not just stick on a small section of clear vinyl as a sacraficial protection? I'd be loathed to start drilling holes for something that looks naff (only my opinion though).
  3. The idea of the spacesavers is to fit the rear wheel and swap a good wheel onto the front if that's whats flat .
  4. What about the Legacy diesel estate? Ticks all the boxes in my books. Quite fancy one of these myself when its time to wave goodbye to the A4 quattro sport V6 TDi. AWD, Boxer engine(remaps well so I'm told), Great mpg and has plenty of creature comforts if you get the top version (Heated leather, satnav, panoramic glass roof).
  5. Yeh, I agree Arch. I passed by a car pulled over by two WPCs just off the 1st roundabout before you get to the traffic lights heading out of Kirkie on Friday late afternoon. They also gave me the stare as I joined the bypass roundabout from the Loch Road side .
  6. Well done for getting the bug rebuilt and back on the road, enjoy
  7. I'm sure they will fit as they're both 100pcd. AFAIK Kiera had a set on her classic wagon at one point?
  8. Looks a lot better than before Chris. Would be interesting to see how it would go around some of the arger tracks ala T/A??? Looks great so far .
  9. I put this very same Ninja II backbox on my Blobeye in place of the Prodrive one, but it was deemed to be a tad too loud for trying to sneak in/out the driveway quietly in the small hours of the morning due to my shiftwork. If its extra throaty noise you want I'm sure it'll suit you down to the ground .
  10. Andy, my blobeye had an interior dark tinted sunstrip which was very effective in most sunshine and light conditions, meaning that I virtually didn't need to use the fold down visor (Maybe another few gramms you could save there too??). If I was faced with the choice that's what I'd go for, and keeps it nice and legal too .
  11. Try AA Autobreakers in Bellshill, they're usually spot-on and have a few newages to choose from .
  12. Looking good Marko, looking good .
  13. ....
  14. What's gonna replace it then Phil?
  15. I passed a white one today as well, must say I liked the look of it better than the Impreza hatch.
  16. I had these Racetech ones fitted to an aftermarket clock surround: Refer back to this previous thread for more details Colin . ***Clicky thing for previous thread***
  17. Having just sold the scooby I was quick to replace it with another AWD car, so yes it is a characteristic I looked for when buying the scoob in the first place.
  18. Lovely looking Fozzy there Al, and just a tad more torque than my new beast too . Hope you enjoy this one for quite a while .
  19. If more folk went out cycling to see what it was like to be part of a chaingang, I'm sure motorists tolerance of them would be so much better. Richie, I'd agree with most of what you're saying. There certainly are a lot of "Knob" drivers out there without any common sense that put the lowly cyclist on the defensive. I've spent some time over in Holland, and because cycling is a huge part of their society mostly all of the roads give way to cyclists at intersections so the driver has no choice but to be careful and even stop. The occasional encounter with even a small group of cyclists is met with great fury and lots of gesticulating over here. Don't know the solution, but it's not nice to be on the receiving end of the abuse or poor driving, that's for sure!!
  20. No probs, thinking back I reckon I only had to loosen the light assembly to get access to the sidelight filaments. Glad you're all sorted .
  21. Just loosen the lamp unit and get enough room to change the bulb.
  22. Sorry to hear that Kenny. All that waiting and being fecked around, then to find out it was goosed!!! Feel for you mate. Why don't you just buy my sorted Blobeye?? I'll cut you a good deal and you can break or sell the bugeye??
  23. Ouch!!! Was that you finding out the hard way that RE070's are shoit in the wet?
  24. GpN means Group N i.e. rally
  25. Of course I studied there! I studied the local lassies and public houses in great detail during my 10yrs at Leuchars on 111(F) Sqn.
