The compressor housing can be rotated to whatever position is required. As you said it's just a mock up of your engine bay when is the car likely to be finished?
I would be getting them painted rather than powder coated as
1. If you scuff one wheel and know the colour you can get it sorted
2. have seen wheels crack due to the powder coating process
get an aftermarket ECU and get it mapped properly. im selling a 4 plug V1 and V2? 92-96
As for gearbox a 754 will probably handle high 300's depending on the driver
Standard block is good for mid 300's but that would depend on history and how it has been treated.
Sort of they are through axels to replace the standard ones that tend to be the weak link in R180 shafts. Same type as run by Mr Forrest and mad hammer who both run over 700 on them with no breakages so far so should be prefect for my mear 500/500ish
Well after a few a bit of indecision I have made a decision
The engine and gearbox will be coming out of the 4 door and going away for a refresh and will then be bolted back in the 4 door and the front mounted GT30R fitted as this is the quickest cheapest option and means the car will be up and running for next spring.
Unlike me I have been buying and selling a few bits
And anybody know what these are?
One of the other sets I saw were actually standard STI wheels from a V7. The other set were Duncan Grahams.
I don't know if it is bad workmanship as different materials are going to react differently to different tempeartures amongst other things to blame the powder coater would be a bit harsh
LOL at this thread read the first 2 post a couple of days ago and pushed the back button.
The Highland fling organised by Scooby 222 was superb in every way. The pace may have not be SEDATE but it's up to each person how fast they wish to go. I at no point heard anybody complain they were pushed to fast. We had a good weekend and there were no accidents or injurys although the odd stupid lockout of car but everybody enjoyed themselves.
As for deleting posts.......... thats out of order it obviously happened but no need for it. I am also am member of both forums all be it have only ever attended SIDC events mainly due to having attended SIDC events before ss.net existed and knowing various people
It is pity I can't get into ss.net as i need a new password and I can't get the random password question answer correct. Can anybody help?
What country does this website claim to be an owners club for?
