Don't get me started. I fitted snow tyres on to the golf and burst the side wall in of them hitting a pothole after 3 days. £135 in the bloody bin after 3 days. Went down to take a phototherapy next day and............. They had bloody fixed it

I just let the air out of the tyres and phoned the AA. Took him 3 hours to get 1 off

Used to get paranoid about this. It's probably water collected in the engine bay. First time I drove through a big puddle with uprated headers I proper crapped myself steam poured out from between the wing and bonnet though I had burst the radiator

I have a pair of V6 sti heads if need be although one valve bent but im sure you could use he casings if need be?

You should be able to do a 10sec 1/4 mile. Did you stick with the gt35 in the end? Is it billet?

Its a good idea while the car is in bit's I managed to get 4 coil packs and an newage AVCS loom for under £100 off the bay so not expensive either

Take it to specialist im sure they will sort it at a decent price

First check the fault codes and check they are clear. If not replace what needs done. Does it sound normal? Are the intercooler pipes on ok? I experienced a similar thing when i had a split pipe.
