  1. Cheers Cath. Will probably wait for the repeat on Fri though - if I watch TG at the computer I'll only end up spraying my monitor with beer during the funny bits

Na you learn quickly how not to spill any ;)

  2. That's right - even now when I hear it I think of the old Top Gear and expect the tune to fade after the first few bars. I can almost visualise Jeremy Clarkson poised to rip into the latest Vectra... or Quentin Wilson smugly imparting his wisdom on how to pick up a Rolls Royce Silver Spur for the princely sum of £22.50

Much prefer the new TG, mind - even if they do use an 'orrible cover version of 'Jessica' for their theme tune. Bugger, that reminds me that my sodding DVD recorder is playing up again, having failed to record last night's episode

Try this then if you missed it.......then you can watch it and still be on the computer

  3. Well thats my window tinted now and really chuffed with the results ;) ....would definitely recommend Magma.

(No pics as only got my phone to take them!! so you will all just have to check it out on the next meet :) )

Went for the lighter tint to match the rest of the car.

Magma has changed his number to 01506 440144 and web www.magmacustom.com if anyone interested

  4. I was advised to put 22mm on the front and 24mm on the rear on my classic, been checking out some of the scooby part sites (was trying to save some money!!) but you can get them at hypertech with free fitting for whiteline ones

  5. that was lucky with the colour match Cathy, you got your wind deflectors and new wheels yet? itl be like a new wagon!! time to move onto the performance mods then B)

btw can you drop me the recipe for your anti midge cream,Lorna was asking for it to protect her ponies

you tinting the windows to protect your eyes from my shirts Del? :D

I know the match is great :D wind deflectors and front spoiler soon and front and rear ARBs :P

The wheels are still being an issue though as I cant seem to find black ones in 17"!! Still looking though

I have my own recipe for midge repel..will send you it on a goat :) The stuff I had at the bbq was Deet made by NAF (natural animal feeds) It should be on sale in the local tack shops up your way but give me a shout if your stuck and i'll bring some up with me to Alford :P

  6. This stuff is very good for removing left-overs from self-adhesives.

I have B & Q sticky stuff remover... nipped down at closing tonight B) its getting there!

Aye, and that'll look well out of place in Dalkeithshire too - where lager & lime is considered 'cocktail' :P

How do you know that so well :D

    I wouldn't ..... as not a townie

  7. Great stuff!

Sounds like you lucked-out on the colour matching too, marvellous B)

You could try some "Bug and Tar Remover" on the tree sap, it might help break it down.

    ;)

Just tried Meguairs paint cleaner and its no too bad but will need a few applications!!

The WRX sticker on it is being a challenge though...got it off but has left some marks!! Arms like popeye now lol (thats me drinking out a straw tonight ) :o Will have to try again tomorrow
