Cheers Cath. Will probably wait for the repeat on Fri though - if I watch TG at the computer I'll only end up spraying my monitor with beer during the funny bits
Na you learn quickly how not to spill any
-
when you bringing it down? i know your bootlid is in need of some tlc
Book me in then, when you free? lol
-
I'll be heading up with the convoy and don't mind helping out.... will pop along and introduce myself when we get there
-
Well done..hope you all had a great weekend, the t shirts look fab
-
That's right - even now when I hear it I think of the old Top Gear and expect the tune to fade after the first few bars. I can almost visualise Jeremy Clarkson poised to rip into the latest Vectra... or Quentin Wilson smugly imparting his wisdom on how to pick up a Rolls Royce Silver Spur for the princely sum of £22.50
Much prefer the new TG, mind - even if they do use an 'orrible cover version of 'Jessica' for their theme tune. Bugger, that reminds me that my sodding DVD recorder is playing up again, having failed to record last night's episode
Try this then if you missed it.......then you can watch it and still be on the computer

Looks good Derek........have you got room in your garage for a nice wee mica red bugeye?
Ermm....red classic wagon first in queue
-
Looking great already ......(when you doing mine )
-
'And of course EVERYBODY in the UK knows 'Jessica', A.K.A. 'the Top Gear theme tuneDidn't know they played that, its weird hearing it played outwith the programme

Well thats my window tinted now and really chuffed with the results ....would definitely recommend Magma.
(No pics as only got my phone to take them!! so you will all just have to check it out on the next meet )
Went for the lighter tint to match the rest of the car.
Magma has changed his number to 01506 440144 and web www.magmacustom.com if anyone interested

Think I will go back to tesco's 99!!
-
I was advised to put 22mm on the front and 24mm on the rear on my classic, been checking out some of the scooby part sites (was trying to save some money!!) but you can get them at hypertech with free fitting for whiteline ones

Any ideas please ?

This stuff is very good for removing left-overs from self-adhesives.
I have B & Q sticky stuff remover... nipped down at closing tonight its getting there!
Aye, and that'll look well out of place in Dalkeithshire too - where lager & lime is considered 'cocktail'How do you know that so well
I wouldn't ..... as not a townie
-
You tried claying it to get the tree sap off ? Also Autosmart Tardis ?
Tried the clay too thanks...its getting there think it just needs elbow grease which I have run out of
-
I will get a slap for that
Thats ok revenge is sweet
-
Great stuff!
Sounds like you lucked-out on the colour matching too, marvellous
You could try some "Bug and Tar Remover" on the tree sap, it might help break it down.
Just tried Meguairs paint cleaner and its no too bad but will need a few applications!!
The WRX sticker on it is being a challenge though...got it off but has left some marks!! Arms like popeye now lol (thats me drinking out a straw tonight ) Will have to try again tomorrow
-
No, you have a point but your'e not supposed to use emulsion paint on them Cathy
Why not? It worked a treat
