Why can't they asemble thing with a bit of copper slip on the threads to make life easier
So we have to return vehicles to the manufacturer!
-
Looks like we'll see you at Hillington then!!
Kenny I'll see you there at 620pm mate and we'll rumble in together!
Ok have your mobile from the Lanark run so if i'm nearby i will let you know, ...trying to sneak away from work a bit early!!
-
Where's the work you're leaving from?
2 mins from the sheriffhall roundabout on the city bypass....near the new royal infirmary
-
how about 6 ish i think itll take about 45 mins to get there rush hour traffic and all that, if not just give us a time .
what time do you reckon youll be at newhouse cathy.
kenny
Not sure! Leaving my work at 6 and searching google maps it reckon 30 mins for me(but its only 38 mile so traffic permitting maybe 20 lol) But don't wait on me i'll catch up
-
I am heading along the M8 but working till 6 so not too sure what time i'll be there at! Might tag along

Having a hard time with my wheels!!! Can only get the ones I want in 18" now... Don't know what to do?? This modding business is cracking me up Can get similar ones but are multifit and they won't look right! Don't suppose anyone near me has a set of 18" I can try on my car first?

If possible find a good pressure cleaner with adjustable heat and pressure controls. Turn the heat up and the pressure down, you should be able to ease the sticker off quickly that way. Either that or get the hairdryer out, and give it a right good heat up.
Ok thanks will try that tonight...have tried the nail treatment but its a bit sore on the fingers lol

Have you got your new tailgate fitted?

Not fitted it yet trying to get the horrible wrx sticker off it first!
Dont think it will be fitted for the Falkirk wheel but hope to have my new wheels though

how about trying to set up a tea/coffee/cake stall?
it gives folk a place to hang out while waiting around and anything sold will go towards the cause - "the Scottish Armed Forces to support injured soldiers and their families on return from combat"
we did this at one of the RR's (think it was Dalgety Bay) and it worked well.
We had a big urn of water, mugs, tea/coffee/milk etc and some of the ladies did some baking...
if Rosie is well enough to rattle up a batch of her caramel shortcake i reckon it will go down a treat
i've already got something planned so wont be able to make it.

I can help with the tea /coffee side if needed Might even be able to provide the urn ..(but the baking is out lol)

Is that a euphemism?
"No", I hear you say, "it's a hill..."
Oops lets re-phrase that then, havn't driven or walked up to Arthurs Seat (the volcanic rock) in Edinburgh in years .....oh and you have "borrowed" the thread again
-
Car looks great... havn't been up Arthurs seat for years

im a fan of toyos and goodyear f1's- never tried michelin ps's but theyre supposed to be pretty good too

Thanks, will maybe go for the Toyos then.... cant wait phoned today and should have them in next week
-
Hi all... my wheels are coming soon but want to upgrade the tyres from the economy ones supplied! Any suggestions? Think toyo's are an option.
Thanks
