I don't use any of the benefits from the membership but I must admit ....why should the non paying member have the same access as paying ones...... Atmosphere has lifted as well let's get this place back on track

I used to have an Evo and always thought subarus were common lol :o but then whilst being detoured because of a fire I fell in love with my first Scooby ....my red wagon. Actually drove to Perth to buy one I had seen on auto trader which looked the same and it turned out to be the same car...the guy had bought it local to me (it was meant to be)

Still having the wagon...I bought a Catalunya from a good friend, and both still going strong

Then I bought a daily runner ....Forester (was called Cathy 3 Scoobs lol) I had 4 actually

Then I bought a McRae (in a state!!) which I've now sold because it had major oil leak

I'll always have a Scoob ....they are so trustworthy and especially now I know my way around them

I'm sure when I bought them for the McRae they were expensive! Good find on ebay though, that's more affordable

What type radiator cap you looking for cathy? I may have one from my blob eye as I bought a zero sport one for some engine bay bling.

It is a standard one off an Sri if that is of any help?

Well that's the radiator burst on the Forester again after temporary repair! Was going to do it yesterday too but needed a rad cap!! so with the Cat waiting on replacement fuel pipe neck and the Forester waiting on radiator replacement (till I get a cap) I'll just need to drive the Audi lol

Irony there in that engine out is the easiest method for clutch change!

Wee update....

Radiator just gave up the ghost again! So just bought new one to replace it, tried sealer etc but it was split on the plastic bit

So as I've already removed it and put it back together...this should be a doddle

Cool ta I've just been checking ebay for this .....

Just removing the Sidc stand was a start lol

Wee update....radiator out (eventually! what a mission to remove pipes and rusted clips when you've only got a tin opener lol)

It's got a wee crack in the side (hard plastic) so it's away being repaired by my excellent highly skilled brother so refitting today...hope I can remember where it all goes

Btw the Cat is the Catalunya ....in case you lot think of something else

I can't take it back...it was private sale, I should have known better but I was desperate to get the car back on the road (I'm having to take the dogs in the Cat )

It's definitely different, I text the guy and he admitted he bought it for a Sport. I'll just sell it on eBay or here? Anyone needing a radiator lol

Davie ....the radiator is all out (except the bottom hose cos the clip is seized!! I'm just going to break it off and replace it but as I'm moving house soon all tools aren't available ) I'm quite chuffed lol ...just hope I can remember where it all goes

Right!! I'm a numpty just bought one from Gumtree .....in my rush to buy one I've just discovered its the wrong one (I was taken in by seller)

This one fits all round but has a rad cap on the top (was still in box and was looking at it upside down) need to sell this but no idea what it fits...says Subaru Impreza on the box!!

Just take hoses off unplug fan wires undo the 2 bolts either side holding it on and lift it straight up, swap the fans onto new radiator 8 10mm bolts then same in reverse and refill it

Will Impreza radiator fit?? From same year car
