  1. Hi folks

The window washers on my scoob wont scoosh! Its not blocked from the bottle to the bonnet as I have had the pipes off! Frozen?? maybe but ran the car for 3 to 4 hours today and surely that would have defrosted it? Cant hear the pump work though ...could it be still frozen? Or maybe pump goosed?? and if so how easy is it to remove/replace?

    Cheers

  2. Just gritted my estate from my front door right out to the street, 2 transit full loads of salt & job done, looks like i wont be needing that gritter now SLC.......thanks though

All the kids in the street will be pelting your door with snowballs...spoilsport lol :D

  3. Brilliant day .... even had a wee tear in my eye with the wee boy who wanted to speak to santa :) but was excellent when his face lit up when Phil and I ran and grabbed a star wars toy from the cages :D

Many thanks to Imy for her 5 * hospitality over the weekend :rotfl:

Oh and the tunnel was good too lol

    Thanks everyone

  4. Hi folks

Still having problems with this!!! Have just stripped it down again cleaned all the fluid up...and put on new rubber O rings but I think its still leaking.... Just drove it from work...only a few miles and the smoke is still belching out

Think I will try getting a second hand reservoir from the scrappies and fit that one!! :hyper: or anyone have one kicking about?? Its the round one from a 95 classic import

    Ta

  5. It will burn its self off eventually but get a hose and wash away as much as you can

The muppets that did my timing belt spilt mine and never cleaned it or said anything about it, i found out when i got home choking on the smell and smoke

Thanks ...it does smell bad! ;) will try the car again tomorrow

  6. Right folks wee problem!! The power steering reservoir on my wagon was still leaking so took it off to check and whilst doing so spilt the fluid!!!! ;) I thought I had the tank emptied before removing!!

Anyway have steam cleaned the engine bay and dont see any signs of it on top but it obviously fell onto the exhaust/heat shield and now when I take the car out its smoking bad from below! (have fixed the leak so its not from there) I am a bit worried about driving the car like that!

Any ideas what to do?? (was going to take it though a few puddles today :))

    Thanks

  7. I thought it was something that Subaru had come up with as a sort of homage to all those poor beggars who'd received a tongue-lashing from the missus after coming back from Andy Forrest's a few quid lighter:

    Wife's

    Raging,

    X-rated

    Hence also 'RA':

    Raging

    Again

    'RB' (5, 320, etc):

    Repeated

    Bollocking

    and, finally:

    She's

    Totally

    Irate

  8. take your maf off and spray some brake&clutch cleaner down it ....

make sure you pay attention to the sensor....

dont use any thing but the cleaner, give it a good spray through and let it dry..

as it will dry very quick.. :)

you can then give it a wipe through with a microfibre cloth....

as before dont wipe the sensor!!!! or you might break the sensor plate,as its very thin ..just the tube..

    hope that helps

    Any pics lol :rotfl:

  9. aye, the Jim Bamber Heroes collection was launched at the McRae Forest stages last month and they are fab.

the models have the Bamber tongue-in-cheek design and the kids clothing is of very good quality,

the fleeces are warm and fluffy enough to keep the little ones warm if they need to go out in the cold.

I received mine a while back which I won from the auction at Chester...its a cracker :)
