It will burn its self off eventually but get a hose and wash away as much as you can
The muppets that did my timing belt spilt mine and never cleaned it or said anything about it, i found out when i got home choking on the smell and smoke
Thanks ...it does smell bad!

Alright, alright - I said I'd try to come to a meet next year!
So you say!

Right folks wee problem!! The power steering reservoir on my wagon was still leaking so took it off to check and whilst doing so spilt the fluid!!!!
I thought I had the tank emptied before removing!!
Anyway have steam cleaned the engine bay and dont see any signs of it on top but it obviously fell onto the exhaust/heat shield and now when I take the car out its smoking bad from below! (have fixed the leak so its not from there) I am a bit worried about driving the car like that!
Any ideas what to do?? (was going to take it though a few puddles today
)
Thanks

I thought it was something that Subaru had come up with as a sort of homage to all those poor beggars who'd received a tongue-lashing from the missus after coming back from Andy Forrest's a few quid lighter:
Wife's
Raging,
X-rated
Hence also 'RA':
Raging
Again
'RB' (5, 320, etc):
Repeated
Bollocking
and, finally:

-
This is the worst time of year for them too!! .......especially after the heavy rain
Wouldn't be surprised if you have a wee family in there! but hope thats the last of them.
-
take your maf off and spray some brake&clutch cleaner down it ....
make sure you pay attention to the sensor....
dont use any thing but the cleaner, give it a good spray through and let it dry..
as it will dry very quick..
you can then give it a wipe through with a microfibre cloth....
as before dont wipe the sensor!!!! or you might break the sensor plate,as its very thin ..just the tube..
hope that helps
Any pics lol
-
how would you do this for a new age impreza 2001 wagon bugeye
cheers kirkyboy
I only knew how to do it with the classics
But needing the know how on cleaning the maf sensor now??

aye, the Jim Bamber Heroes collection was launched at the McRae Forest stages last month and they are fab.
the models have the Bamber tongue-in-cheek design and the kids clothing is of very good quality,
the fleeces are warm and fluffy enough to keep the little ones warm if they need to go out in the cold.
I received mine a while back which I won from the auction at Chester...its a cracker

That is normal, the fuel pump would have been doing the same
Cheers Iain
Thanks
Washer Bottle Not Worky!
in Scottish Scoobies
Posted
Hi folks
The window washers on my scoob wont scoosh! Its not blocked from the bottle to the bonnet as I have had the pipes off! Frozen?? maybe but ran the car for 3 to 4 hours today and surely that would have defrosted it? Cant hear the pump work though ...could it be still frozen? Or maybe pump goosed?? and if so how easy is it to remove/replace?
Cheers
