  1. Silver WRX - cheers for the rat-run avoiding the roadworks at Bowtrees !! Not sure what you were trying to achieve after that though????
  2. Cheers guys !! Only changes since the run last year was to take off the oiled Pipercross induction kit (standard airbox back on) and I've replaced the MAF and Lambda since. Hardly any det and only 2 greens on the KL. Fuelling is good as well. I'd have been happy to make the standard 276 so I'm well chuffed. Neil
  3. Just back from a session on the rollers and well impressed with the figs. Made 307.5bhp@6500rpm and 282lb/ft@4000rpm. Consistent runs as well - only down 1.5bhp on the 2nd run and the 2nd run was about 4lb/ft up on the 1st. Not bad for a Wagon with a de-cat. It even had an OEM panel filter on Cheers to Paul and the guys - very smart setup. Neil
  4. Anyone recommend any firms? Planning the annual trip to the Gold Cup at Ayr races this year and fancy a change from the usual mini-bus Heading from Falkirk so somewhere in weegie-land, central or e'burg would do. Ta, Neil
  5. Longcroft just outside of Bonnybridge I think - 08700622336. Spoilt for choice between them and Hypertech round here Neil
  6. I've got a 17" monitor lying spare if you like. No keyboard unfortunately. Cheers, Neil
  7. Without stepping on Alans toes - read the ECU codes 1st - if you do black-black and green-green you'll reset it without knowing of there were codes there in the 1st place. Just connect black-black and see what you get.
  8. Would be worth checking your ECU error codes and see if it's throwing up a MAF or Lambda failure as well. Of the 2 it would be the MAF as the Lambda's not used to control the fuelling on boost. If its running lean that can cause the det you might be seeing on the KL. I'd give Dastek a call and see if they've got anything to say on the fuelling. I get an amber sometimes on changeing up from 3rd-4th and 4th-5th but thats down to transmission noise (I think) Neil
  9. Fee - what other mods do you have? I fitted mine a month or so ago when I had an induction kit on mine. Since then gone back to the standard airbox and panel filter and seeing 1 green max. Cars fueling better as well according to my AFR. Its best to run at max. sensitivity so I've been told. I run Millers Octane Plus in mine as well. Neil
  10. I've got a dedicated server running on my PC which seems to run OK. Its listed as "Nelsdirs Racing Server" in the server list (not v. original I know) - sometimes running the demo 'cos some of the guys I play with are too tight to shell out for the full licence It should be up and running most evenings so give it a go and tell me if it runs alright. Neil
  11. I take it there's still no overboost? And have you polished that tailpipe yet
  12. You too could be driving this thing of beauty
  13. I've been playing S1 for over a year now and its a top game. I don't have a wheel and S2 seems easier with the mouse. I sign in as using the same name as on here (funnily enough ) Neil
  14. I posted that in general last week. Car belongs to one of the lady members of the SIDC funnily enough. Not the chick in the clip though unfortunately
  15. If you liked that you're gonna love this "Climb Dance" Ari Vatanen doing Pikes Peak in 1988 in a Peagot 405 T16. Best driving clip I've seen. Been kicking around a while but worth watching. Crappy low res 8mb Save as at 60mb Crackin'. Neil
  16. Black alloys are worth at least another 10 bhp
  17. As the sole Wagon representative I thought I'd post these up. Taken by Graham Lamb the photographer that was mentioned in the drivers briefing. Top quality (the pics - not my driving )
  18. Is that the standard airbox mate?
  19. Just back and wanted to say a big thanks to JohnS for organising another top day Wagon held up on its first time out on track thankfully!! Pity bout the red flags at the start of the day - did KH carry out their threats to send anyone home??? Got some footage and will stick a link up later. Neil
  20. Just wondering what everyone usually runs with? Had mine set to 35 all round on 17" Pirelli P-Zeros last time I was out and got a fair amount of understeer coming out of McIntyres and the hairpin (lack of skill could have been a factor but would never admit it ) Was planning on running 33 front and 32 rear to allow for the increase in temp. Wagon this time if it makes any difference?? Any other suggestions? Neil
  21. Check this out here and make sure there's no errors present/find out whats knackered. Agree on the AWD front - get them to stick the select monitor on it and you'll know if theres a prob with your ECU - chances are it won't be and the problem lies elsewhere. Neil.
  22. What boost was it running before the Superchip & d/v were put on? Have they checked the ECU for fault codes at all??
  23. The wagon lives After new MAF and Lambda (ouch!) I'll be there. 1. HI SOOB 2. chris gumball3000 3. Swiggi & Mrs 4. Matt 5. SMA01 6. TheSquirrel555 + micra_wrc 7. Keap scooby 8. Paul C 555 9. WRC No 1 & Scoobymadburd 10. the naked pole vaulter 11. Fai17 12. Marc29 14. Alfa20ad 15 sheep aka paul 16 Nelsdir Neil
  24. Haha!! Posing. I wish - put on the new MAF today and was giving it a gentle run-out - doesn't feel like a bag of spanners pootling around in 3rd and 4th now. Only prob is still showing a fault 23 which is MAF on the old green-green/black-black ECU check Need to check the wiring - you saw the state the loom was in Should get the AFR on tomorrow and check its fueling right. BTW - Falkirk Stadium to Stenny sports centre in 15 mins. - who do you think you are - Lance Armstrong Neil
  25. Thanks Derek - wrong fit unfortunately I'll give Glenburgie a go. Cheers. Neil
