Prodrive springs on my '03 STi. Believe they are actually Eibachs made to Prodrives specs?? Reduces "bounce" on the m'way and turn in better on the corners, less body roll etc. Noticed a few new rattles in the car (to be expected) and now my flaps scrape round every roundabout and tight-ish corners. Glad I did them - can't compare to Teins. Think Bandit got a shock when he got an insurance quote between the Prodive and Tein ones though. Hope to sort out the droplinks (why is no-one going for steel instead of alloy BTW??) and ARB with Dunc at Hypertech this week. Neil

My own RB5 and STi Wagon had the same problem. I believe that the glass/runners could be replaced early in the warranty i.e. I think you might be hard pushed to get it on an extended warranty now?? Maybe Gav or Russ would know Neil

I had a prob with mine a couple of mths ago. Alarm started to give the odd chirp when unlocking the car and was cranking slow until it was dead one morning. Got Subaru Assist out and had a chat with the guy. Seems that there have been a number of probs with the alternator not charging the battery. Guy said there is a "Smart" alternator on the new-age that only charges the battery when there is a load put on it. One possible reason for mine being flat is that during the summer I wasn't running the headlights, rear demist etc (don't know about the air-con). Anyway - told to run with the sidelights on and not a single prob since. Check out scoobynet for battery probs - a number of people have been told the same thing and it's worked for them Neil

July '03 - seems like only yesterday []

The best Irish joke I've heard...... Two Irishmen walk into a pet shop in Dingle, they walk over to the bird section and Gerry says to Paddy, "Dat's dem." The owner comes over and asks if he can help them. "Yeah, we'll take four of dem dere little budgies in dat cage up dere," says Gerry. The owner puts the budgies in a cardboard box. Paddy and Gerry pay for the birds, leave the shop and get into Gerry's truck to drive to the top of the ConnorPass. At the Connor Pass, Gerry looks down at the 1000 foot drop and says, "Dis looks like a grand place." He takes two birds out of the box, puts one on each shoulder and jumps off the cliff. Paddy watches as the budgies fly off and Gerry falls all the way to the bottom, killing himself stone dead. Looking down at the remains of his best pal, Paddy shakes his head and says, "Fook dat. Dis budgie jumping is too fook'n dangerous for me!" . . . . . . THERE'S MORE... Moment's later; Seamus arrives up at ConnorPass. He's been to the pet shop too and walks up to the edge of the cliff carrying another cardboard box in one hand and a shotgun in the other. "Hi, Paddy, watch dis," Seamus says. He takes a parrot from the box and lets him fly free. He then throws himself over the edge of the cliff with the gun. Paddy watches as half way down, Seamus takes the gun and shoots the parrot. Seamus continues to plummet down and down until he hits the bottom and breaks every bone in his body. Paddy shakes his head and says, "And I'm never trying dat parrotshooting either!" . . . . . . . IT'S NOT OVER YET... Paddy is just getting over the shock of losing two friends when Sean appears. He's also been to the pet shop and is carrying a cardboard box out of which he pulls a chicken. Sean then takes the chicken by its legs and hurls himself off the cliff and falls down until he hits a rock and breaks his spine. Once more Paddy shakes his head. "Fook dat, lads. First dere was Gerry with his budgie jumping, den Seamus parrotshooting... and now Sean and his fook'n hengliding!" arf []

A trade-off between quality and file size but here you go. 1/2 and 3/4 are from each of the last 2 runs respectively (1st one from approx 12:20 I think). They were split into 4 for photobucket but came out cr@p quality after upload. Change the size when playing to make them look a bit better. My fav non-scoobs were the green Caterham(or Westie?) and the sweet-sounding silver CTR [] 2nd-last run Last run Neil

To add to the rest. Taken mostly from around Duffus and got the majority of scoobs. Need a 300mm lens for next time though as they're a bit far away. Only had the camera a mth so reasonably happy. More importantly got the last 2 sessions (between the red flags) on video so will get that up later. Neil
