Aloha folks - don't post much on here anymore but thought I'd put a quick post up for anyone still playing this. Theres a new WRC Subaru mod out and it is a lot better than the previous one we were using. I've done a quick vid of Ken Blocks car round KH if anyone fancies taking a peek here (click the HQ button in the bottom right corner - makes it a bit clearer)If anyone still plays let me know and I'll try and resurrect the server we used before Neil

I was in the silver Zafira that flashed you out. Nice looking car. Noticed it was debadged - was that a grey Prodrive badge off a P1 on the boot??

Just my 2p worth - my '97 classic started running v. rough and turned out to be a knackered Lambda sensor. Was fine on boost but a nightmare round town/steady throttle. I checked it using a voltmeter - was sticking at about 0.2v whereas it should be bouncing between 0.4 - 0.8 when cruising I think (those more knowledgeable can correct me). Fitted an AFR gauge after that to keep an eye on it. £50 for a replacement and everything good. Neil

Megane_Trophy_Setup_2.01_by_RSDG.exe is the filename. Got it here http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Megane%20Trophy Just ran the exe and it installed fine. Should say that all the mods running are from that site as well

I've got the V8's and Meganes on now which installed and ran fine without any changes to folders.So the server is now running: Default cars HRC with the folder moved as per instructions Evo vs. STi with the folder moved as per instructions V8 Supercars Megane Trophy Remember you'll need to have these installed to see the other racers but you should still be able to join and race even if you don't have them.

Anyone around for some track action tonight? Rebuilt the server yesterday - managed to recreate the .MAS errors. Reason is that you can't pick the scoobies/rally cars when in the "All tracks and cars" series by default. Copy the folders up one level as-per the instructions a couple of pages back that worked for Fuzzy. If you connect when in the HRC or Evo series you'll connect but won't see/be able to race any other non-HRC cars. If you want only the HRC cars on track for example and no others we can do that too by running that series on the server instead of "All cars and tracks". Make sure you start rFactor in the "All cars and tracks series" (you set this under the player menu). If you can connect with any car then disregard the above as techno-geek b0llox [8-|] I'm going to put the V8's on and the Megane trophy as well. Anyone running any other Mods we can put on? My network connection went down but the servers back up now. Fuzzy fixed his .mas errors following the instructions a couple of pages back. Dont know why this server should be any different than the others you're connecting to. Don't really want to reinstall again especially when copying the vehicles up one folder fixed it for both me and Fuzzy [:^)] Give it another go tonight and see how it goes. Did everyone stay connected? That would be a start..... Cheers Neil

Found a couple of settings for the server that *might* stop the disconnections so if anyones around tonight then give it a shot.

Been away all week so not had a chance to test. Servers been up and I've seen connections to it. I've been on today and it all seems fine. Renamed to ScottishScoobies.com (bit of free advertising for the forum []).

My folder structure here. Its the same on the server.

The HRC patch was the one that gave me the most trouble. It was fine when the initial install was done but when the 1.1 patch was installed it gave a .mas error. Once I moved all the vehicles up one level I could get in when using the all tracks series. Bottom line is if it works when you login using the HRC series then are we good to go?? Does that work for anyone else. The Evo mod was sorted out the same way for me - moving the 2 folders up one level to be under the mitsu_sub folder.

Back up - default, Grp B and the Evo/STi patch is working for me (my blobeye is blocking the end of the pit lane just now) If you have .mas errors it seems to be because the vehicle files are in the wrong place. in the case of the evo patch the nippower directory needs to be under c:program filesrfactorgamedatavehicles under that you'll have the evo9 and sti directories Cheers Neil

Just had a couple of races there with Fuzzy and server looks OK so far. Only running the default cars at KH just now just to make sure everyone who'se licensed can access it then I'll put the mod cars in. I'll put the HRC ones in once everyone's downloaded and installed the patch. We can take it from there for the other cars/tracks. I'm going to take the password off it just now as well. I'll need to knock up a quick guide about running the server so it doesn't need to be running on my other desktop all the time and you guys can host it. Neil

Slow progress guys but bear with me - caught ScoUK and it was the fact that the server was limited to the F1 and Grp B cars so the Kodi wasnt allowed. Its now set to run the Grp B and any of the default ones that you can use in the Lienz series (like the Kodi) just to make sure that anyone who's unlocked but not downloaded any cars/mods can still check they can connnect. Grant - there was an update to the original HRC mod - "Patch_v1.1_rFactor_Mod_HRC" which is on the rfactorcentral site. If you've not installed that maybe thats why you're getting a mismatch. Keep trying boys and I'll try and sort it out. Cheers Neil
