Just like to say a big thanks to Dave & Al for all their efforts this weekend and everyone that came along, we had an absolute ball as usual, great roads, great banter, fantastic scenery even if most of it was a blur Even managed a magnificent 27.9 mpg on the way up to Inverness then it was into thirsty mode lol covered a grand total of 637 miles A couple of pics

Having owned both BMW's & Audi's I would go for the Audi every time both cars are great but after a winter like wev'e just had the BMW would be parked up going nowhere for weeks.

Colin the painter next to Hypertech took any rust out and gave it a blow over to match the paintwork in, my input was only a bit of elbow grease lol

Promised Mag's I would get the RA tarted up for her before spending any more money on secret mods lol, the car has been used daily all winter & required a wee bit of TLC to bring her back to looking her best.

Don't want to say too much just now as there is a certain club member with a huge grin after today, minimal mods, intake freeflow kit & a decent unrestrictive exhaust on a standard car many torqueeeeeeeees there will be that famous grin for a long time

My first three scoobs were only ever run on normal unleaded & never coughed 2 x classic turbos & blob sti & I still maintain they actually drove & handled just as well and as fast as the cars that I have spent mucho spondulies modding, I have to ask myself the question is modding really worth it

As long as there is a decent service history milage shouldn't matter, most owners are enthusiasts and look after their babies, I've had some sort of scoob tucked up in the garage since 95 & my present RA with 90,000 mls on the clock runs as well as my GB with 11,000 mls, both running on prolong lubricants, as long as the Japs are oiled & watered regularly they don't let you down, it's a buyers market and theres some lovely examples out there I'm sure there are plenty of guys on here would be only to glad to help you choose, but there are some dogs as well.
