  1. Hi and welcome along. Nobles at Dalkeith? Not sure about that, do you mean Penicuik? It's all besides the point, S W Motorsport gets my vote. 5 minutes past Ikea. Just before Nobles in Penicuik. Stevie there will advise you on any aspects of your service and give you top rate work. Very friendly and no nonsense service from him. Better bet than a main dealer in my opion. Ryan
  2. Yeah. Think it's your Mrs I've seen going about in it then. If it's the same one, I've seen you going about in her for a few years now. Since I moved to the Niddrie twenty. I run about in the blue Bugeye wagon.
  3. +1 For SW's. Excellent service. Where abouts in Edinburgh you from? I've seen a similar car to your's stoatin about Craigmillar area. right or wrong? Ryan
  4. My cars on coilovers as mentioned. So to be honest I don't KNOW the distance I've dropped her over the standard. But it must be at least a 50mm drop all round, maybe more? Got her about 6mm higher at the rear than the front sits. She sits pretty low! No problems with any parts since fitting them, 30k ago roughly. The above kit is only fitted to the front of the car.
  5. I was advised to fit one of these kits when I was fitting my coilovers. Cuscokid on here supplied parts and gave me good information. It was nearly 2 years ago now. But I fitted a few other parts and had a geometry setup at the same time so can't comment on it's actual effect on it's own. But car has felt alot better than standard ever since... Ryan
  6. I didn't mean they were 'Brembo made' discs, just the fact that they suit 326mm Brembo caliper's as on the car in topic. Are they that bad? I was thinking about getting set at the end of the month ? Got a price for new discs and kevlar pads all round for £325 delivered. Thought it sounded too good a deal! Anyone else had these discs before? Ryan
  7. Ian at Godspeed brakes has a good price on their own discs just now. 326mm Brembo grooved efforts. Think it's something like £90 for a front set, then add some fast road kevlar pads and you'll be sorted. Ryan
  8. Glad you got it all sorted. Nice one.
  9. BigFelly. I could give you a hand on Sunday to fit man. I have tools etc. and have changed my own exhaust parts a good few times over the last 4 years. Gives a pm if you want me to assist. Ryan
  10. Na man. Nowt to be worried about. Similar idea to the dump valve on the wee Mazda's front mount you's put together. More than likely on a pipe I think. Cheers
  11. Sorted out noo. S.W.Motorsport with problem fixing solution again. Involves a welder somewhere.....
  12. btt. Anyone near Edinburgh that can help at all? Ryan
  13. Thanks for your reply. Sorry for being dumb, but will it be a straight forward fit with my fmic? What, if any other bits would I need? Ryan
  14. Long shot. DUMP VALVE BORROW? But does anyone have a dump valve that will fit my HDi/Hybrid fmic setup? My car's 99% complete and I'm struggling to source an adapter for my standard dump valve to fit on. Only hopefully need it until I get an adapter to whack my oe dump valve on. I'm in the Edinburgh area and don't mind travelling within distance if anybody can help. Car's with S.W.Motorsport the noo and needing a dump valve asap to get her back on the road tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday? Will using a vta then changing to a recirc once I get an adapter need a map tweak or will it be okay? Thanks Ryan
  15. Cheers for that. Just don't think he takes cards for payment, I couldn't find a contact number earlier today to call him. Home from work now, so the search can begin properly.... the power of google should hopefully.
  16. I trying to find somewhere that does the adapter to fit my standard newage dump valve with my fmic setup. Do you know what's needed and where to buy them from? Needed ASAP! Thanks Ryan
  17. I'm eventually getting my 2.5 conversion done(Braveheart's old engine). A week on Sunday, she's getting dropped off at S. W. Motorsport and left in their capable hands. Saving hard for a 6 speed box to complete things before the summer hopefully! 450 or there abouts for the summer would be nice, whatever a 321t will give me with supporting mods on my 2.5 with ported and chambered newage wrx heads? Canny wait....... even to get my tubular headers on to hear the difference in the burble! Ryan
  18. Nice one. I've got a four and a half month old wee boy. Alot o work, but amazing. People are giving him Christmas gifts left, right and centre. But he's happy with a wee bit wrapping paper to hold! Hope you's have a nice day.
  19. Just noticed your f/s section post. 'Top Secret' stuff for the moment I see. Fair enough, ya tease!
  20. What's your new project gonna be sir? I hope it's going to be another good project thread to read. Ryan
  21. Down to car this lunchtime. Armed with a box of tools and daylight on my side. Took all of 10 minutes farting about with the bonnet catch to pop it open. Got power to the battery and the alarm started going off and my fob started working again. My friend thinks he left one of the map reading lights on!!!! All sorted now and voltage gauge is back to 13.4 volts. Cheers Ryan
  22. Thanks for the kind offer. Ryan
