  1. The car is running nice and family are doing great. Basically finished, few smaller things I would like to do, but no rush. Never did chase the wrap thing up, still rocking duck tape over the holes where the roof rails used to be! Plagued with vandalism last 6 months or so- punctures, dents etc. So a total tidy up and full wrap would be my ideal plan. But even getting the time to wash her just now is hard, never mind the funds!
  2. Just checked the events section. I'll pop along. As long nothing comes up before hand. August is ages away! Whack my name down yeah. Cheers. Ryan
  3. Your bank account details and I could just pay it straight into your account? Via digital banking or whatever. My Paypal account is feckd as I have spent over a certain limit and it needs verified with a credit card (ithink), which I don't have. Ryan
  4. Paul. Just dig your heels in. I had similar girlfriend input years back. Had the wagon a couple years and was told it was too much for a family car etc. Now 7+ years and over double the standard power I still have her and the same girlfriend!! 2 young kids now too. Scooby is now not the main car. I bought her a Quasqui thingy with like 50mpg or over (diesel). Also running a second car for work/labrador abuse, which runs on 100% waste veg oil. So virtually free fuelling for my average of 300 miles a week. But back to your situation, as you say it's also a hobby and what you do in your spare time etc then you will be wasting your time getting rid of it. As you'll end up wanting another one and then find yourself spending cash getting that the way you want it. It's a no-brainer, you've got to keep the car because "it's what you do".
  5. Those track things on the one above unbolt. Basically like swapping wheels. 10 minutes a corner with simple tools. I've seen them on Landrovers in the past. They reduce ground pressure to virtually nothing when on a Landrover.
  6. I'd join in depending on the date. I'll keep a watch out for updates with any details.
  7. Last week. I was in the inside lane at the cross roads entering Milton Road from Kings Manor direction. I was in a dark blue Hilux.
  8. I've seen that sitting there a good few times recent weeks/months. Not sure if it moves much or maybe for sale or something?
  9. Cool. Thanks for the reply. Sounds worth a poke about for me. I tried swapping idle control valves etc. didn't change anything. Cheers. Ryan
  10. I had very similar issues with my car. Never had any cel light or errors. Also never really got to the bottom of it. Now that I'm running mafless, issues seem to have gone. Where abouts is the fuel pressure sensor? How much did it cost to fix? Did you have a cel or error code to point you in that sensors direction? Ryan
  11. Why not get some kevlar pads? I have them on Brembos and they work great. Better than the ebc yellow stuff pads I had before. All fast road use. Kevlar ones are cheaper also!
  12. Trackhound (Alistair) is well worth a shout. As mentioned above. Great customer service, fair prices and very helpful. Can't recommend him enough! Ryan
  13. Honestly never got a pm. Took the bung to work incase you got intouch in the morning. No pm's at all. Sorry.
  14. Why did you not follow up on the bung? Ipod may have been handy!!
  15. Where about are you Phil? I have an old bung out my previous after burner box. Not sure on size. Would need to check. I'm all about Edinburgh if any help? Pm me. Ryan
  16. I think I have one laying about. I'm based near Asda at the Jewel in Edinburgh. If you need it, tomorrow (Sunday) could meet up some where. PM me with your mobile number. Ryan
  17. As above Paul. Savings on fuel alone when running to Perth with her! SW's is like 10 minutes from you man.
  18. I can confirm Barry has more than one of these! Well I've at least seen very similar shapes under cover. lol Not seen or heard any running yet though......
  19. Also just to say. My newage wrx space saver will not clear newage gold Brembo calipers. Even the REARS, had a front puncture and tried the swap a good rear wheel to the front trick. No luck, hits the caliper before sitting square on! Not sure if a STi space saver is different to aid this? Ryan
  20. I have a 2002 wrx space saver laying in the garden. Free if you're any where near Edinburgh. 5x100 pcd. Ryan
  21. Try 1st Central. They covered me fully comp, lots of lovely points and only 26 years old. A smidge over £500! Had my wrx for nearly 5 years and this is less than half all the previous years premiums! Worth a quote at least. Ryan
  22. All sorted now. Stevie Whitson to the rescue again. He went out of his way on a day off to get me a plug. All buttoned up and back on the road. Thanks SW Motorsport
  23. Can't pm you. Some error, not sure if it's my fault or your inbox is full or something? Still after a plug if anyone has one I could come collect within a reasonable distance around Edinburgh today.
