Sooooooo Gutted I didn't make it along to this... Arrived at B&Q at 12:30 got out of the car and felt like I was gonna spew all over hte place.. Maybe it was a dodgy bacon roll I had for breakfast... Really was looking forward to catching up with everyone again and seeing Davey's stickered up BLob Spotted a few of you on my way out of town gave ya a wave and a flash on the way Was hoping to pass on details of events this year, but instead I'll post up the details in the next coupel of days.. COuple car show type things in the summer, one you "younger" locals really can't miss!! Also Snowman rally and of course the planned trip to Skye this year! Woohoo! yeah gave up trying after that.. But apparently he'll be at the Rallyeee event in keith later int eh year so maybe try and get somethgin organised.. In saying that, what you described about the Accidont "day" in aberdeen.. sounds WAY better, and much more entertaining! not yet... Plans are there, but it's waiting from soem sort of go ahead from land owners.. And apparently they are known for their.. erm.. not so quick responses.. Although they did donate the land for hte kart Track (Boyndie).. And they were supposed to have gotten the go ahead to build a aerodrome museum type place up at the the airfield so fingers crossed.. May try chase it up in the next few weeks, to see if anything has moved forward..

I've throught about it for years, but never done it!.. Spoke to my local guy about gettign a group buy for a group of Scooby Drivers, but strangely wasn't interested Price was £65 IIRC (IAM members get a discount of 15%.. "allegedly".. apparently he changed his mind all the time as to whether or not that discount exists).. Used to be half that a few years ago when it first started!! Guy wasn't interested in giving any sort of group discount for SIDC, and very difficult to get a hold of.. Rarely returned calls (only once) then when I did get speaking to him, I got the distinct impression he had better things to do than speak to me about it.. Been tempted to give the Accidont people a call though.

Yeouch! Price is a bit steep! I guess that's down to the lousy Yen/GBP value.. I have to confess, the only way I'd buy a Impreza Hatch would be if it was a Diesel.. I think it suits it.. But not at that price.. Hardcore Impreza/smokey fans only.. sadly..

Well Spotted! But if I have to bash 5g for something it's that Diesel fuel test.. Good test, similar to what they did a few years back with Standard Optimax and BP Ultimate petrols! But... It's diesels.. Why no torque figures! For anyone who has a clue, will know that bhp is for bragging rights down the pub and torque is for drivability and the weyhey! effect. Diesels are not about high end bhp.. they are about ggrunt and torquey stuff.. In the last test with petrols a bigger difference was seen when comparing the torque of each. Think they missed the point with that one.. BTW - I've been filling up with Tesco 99 last couple of tanks and although seems to work fine, it doesn't have a potent, get you high fumey smell I got from V-Power

Yeah I know... contacted them at the beginning of the week saying it hadent' arrived and needed it quickly.. They "convinced" me it would definately be with me by the end of the week.. But hasn't Trying to chase it up just now.... *sigh* If I knew it wasn't goign to arrive I'd ordered another one from elsewhere... Grrrr!! Not sure when I'll get the chance to replace it now..
