Honestly, don't know what the problem is. some heavy feet about 242 and over 1/4 tank left!

Still get 300 miles to the tank normally (about 27mpg) with a combo of motorway driving and sitting in traffic. Exactly the same as befoe the re-map. On a motorway run it's nearer 29 but that has to be all motorway. Not been as bad as i thought it would be! 5t.

I don't think he's too far off. I would expect that most of the baseball cap types are the people that go along to top gear. always seems to be plenty of lads in the audience. I think he makes a good point of this not being the right image for Subaru owners though, i like the "knows how to use a knife and fork" thing. He's likely to be right on the new electronic sillyness too. One of the key things for me about the Impreza in the past has been that it has handled so well it hasn't needed all the electronics of the skyline and the Evo making it a more involving drive and one you know you are doing yourself. Unless the STi really really needs it (which it probably doesn't) i think this is more of a "we need this cos everyone else has it" move by Subaru and i'd have been happy for them to spend the money elsewhere on the car. 5t.

Hoping the tyre issues will help. WRC needs more than Subaru to fight Ford and Citroen, too few manufacturers there for me! 5t.

I've got the box from my wagon in the flat if needed. It's the 2.5" newage job though so no idea if it will fit. Can't imagine it is that different... 5t.

Didn't think an air filter made any real difference bar noise and not having to replace it? When i had the map done Andy said not to bother as the standard item is more than adequate. Note Prodrive don't alter the filters either, apparently standard airbox is good for 350bhp! So benefits: More noise Works out cheaper over 40,000 miles Downsides: Doesn't filter as well (more air also = more bits) Initial cost that's about it! If you just stick with the standard one SIDC discount will give you 10% off. I think they are about eight quid from Subaru. 5t.

Andy monitors it all for you so you need nothing. Get any mods on if you can though. Cooling seems to be the main one beyond decats and the like. If you can get a samco Y pipe or bigger intercooler that might help (depending on what you are driving of course) otherwise sit back and enjoy the ride home! m.

Great day out and a top bunch of peeps. Emma was well happy to go round the ward as a number of the kids were having similar operations to ones she has had herself and having been in hospital when santa came round she enjoyed being able to do it for others.
