Wuz if there is a problem with it fitting onto an MY 98 then please correct me however i was under the impressions it was a straight swap. If something is in the way or it needs an adapter then tell us please. I have no idea what an ISCV is for a start.

actually its never been to crail since i swapped it out however getting all 4 wheels pointing one direction is the biggest issue right now regarding drag times (car is pulling to the left and ive had the tracking checked) my car has never been mapped, not modified enough to merit it (plus im skint and keep having to spend my money on repairs)

yep straight swap for an STI 5 into the 98,99 and 00 classics (done it on my 00 as has ally-b and several others)

sounds like the car went into limp home mode, reset the ECU (that should clear the CEL) and then keep the revs down untill the remap

I'm sure there is a guide on doing this on the scoobynet forums. I've seen it before. It is possible but its not a simple fit. You need to grind / hammer away at the bit underneath the inter cooler on the chassis to give the new larger one some room as I recall. Will also need to make custom brackets to mount it and get the correct hoses to make it fit. Best person to ask would be squirrel. I know he has actually done this on a car before so he should be able to give you some insight as to the hell you are about to have.

yeah driver discipline is a problem in this country. in Germany don't the cops pull you over for things like lane hogging, tailgating, poor lane discipline and all round crap driving and send you back on a driving course rather than just targeting those doing a few mph over the limit in a safe manner. I'm sure I read that somewhere although I could be completely wrong.

Ok so maybe 100 is a bit out of the question. But give us 90mph then. Stop dropping stupid speed limits onto perfectly good roads (50's on motorway and dual carridgeway which are in good condition with good visability and no sharp bends are a joke and a half)

I don't mind if indeed it is a fair cop as you say but where your the only car on the road and not risking anyone else it is a bit much. Sounds similar to how I got done. Still kind of annoyed about it.

Would be interesting to see those stats or even have a few of them published. Don't suppose we have stats for the old forms to compare them to do we? Would be nice to see the 4 weeks before compared to the 4 weeks after.

oh well they say football is a funny old game and at the end of a season whatever wrongs are done against you are balanced out. twice this year we've won games we didn't deserve to and today we did against Aberdeen and yet I find myself here tonight with no more points. I thought the first half was nothing to write home about for either team tbh however in the second half we created far more chances yet just never put them away. Being denied a couple of penalties didn't help but i thought the ref was being to interfering in general rather than letting the players get on with it. to make it worse our injury list is fair mounting up and we don't exactly have the reserves to fill the spaces. Common The Killie!!!!!
