  1. Ive heard a lot of not great stories about John R Weir, but nothing about Scoob dealerships, more about their Merc dealership in Aberdeen... Well I dont know But this place the the place to vent that stuff out, but just as long as its balanced, people need to know about bad dealers, but as long as they hear the other side of things, like for example if stuff gets sorted out to your satisfaction off their own backs... Credit where credit is due, Flame where needed... Just my opinion...
  2. And when the last time that you saw in impreza with headrests like that! (Early Classics execpted....)
  3. Cheers Mr Decisive!!! I think that it was for flexibity, LIke I say check out the reviews they know a lot more about it than I do!!!
  4. Well what ive been hearing is that Mini DV is still the way to go for quality, HDD Ive heard is improving, but if your looking for the quality, then Go Mini DV (tape) but dont take my word for it, there are loads of reviews out there from pretty reputable sources, check out any good magazine on the subject, and you should get some good info there! and as for the mount, yeah, Ive got that very mount that Andy has pointed you too, in fact, that company LIE blatantly, they never designed a thing, everything was designed and manufactured by Manfrotto, so is very good quality, we were having a discussion about it only a month or 2 ago, good for more than just camcorders, its good for photography, to use a previous example... So on the whole, I agree with andy, the mount and camcorder is the way to go!

  20. Was out doing some late night photography last night, and as I was driving around the lighthouse, I happend accross and burning Bush I mean car... only seconds later the police turned up, and then the fire brigade just after that... unfortunitly I was not really quick enough to get my tripod out before they started putting out the flames... my guess is joyriders... but cant be sure... not many cars use that road late at night like... Times like this I REALLY need to get that new lens that I was discussing with JohnS the other week... other Shots of this and the rest of the stuff I did last night here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thefastone/
