  1. Ah ok, you need to Pm andy mate... and get your user group updated... how much did they charge you like?
  2. Oh I never knew that the sport exhaust was different.... Learn something new everyday...
  3. well if all you want is the burble, then just a backbox will do you... thats All I have on my car like, does the job... just a prodrive one would suit you right down to the ground, get them second hadn, and the new age one will fit your car.... HOWEVER... I think that WUZ is selling a classic prodrive backbox, might be right up your street... oh and be carfull, some exhaust parts are different on your car, because you have no turbo... others can tell you about hat better than me...
  4. To be honest, You cant really compliain about the hourly rate, its only expensive because you are not a member... You really should be though, the membership card pays for its self there!
  5. Tidy, thanks for clearing that up like, I figured that you would know best about that seeing that you set it up like... Cheers Craig!

  10. Mmmmm wanting to get a nice custom one for my car when the time comes... Mmmmm nice!
  11. John, DONT buy from halfrauds!!!!! they are waaaay overpriced, ok for going to see whats there and press the buttons, otherwise steer clear... Good source of info here: talk audio audio forums... does what it says on the tin... And a good place to buy from here: car audio direct I belive that this is the same people... but very cheap and I belive good service... I was looking at an (alipine) head unit and it was more that £200 cheaper than halfrauds... it helps to look around... Oh and Yes, that head unit should drop right in mate! you should probably still need a wiring adaptor though (about £10 tops) And finaly, Your car has whats called a double DIN head unit, that means that its double the height/depth/whatever of a normal "single DIN" unit, if you want to fit a single DIN head unit, then you will be left with a gap either above or below your head unit. What People have been doing mate, is fitting the cubby pocket from a forrester which is the right size mate, I dunno you might have a simelar pocket on your centre console? just a place to put your keys/coins/sweeties... Hope that explains things a bit for you John....?
  12. Sorry to hear of your confusion mate! Happens to the best of us I'm sure...
  13. I should think that is a given Dunk, unless Gordon has left as I think it was all worked out with him, I think thats in the bag! That said, Gordon and Kev are both still there arn't they?
  14. Hmmm thats what I was a afraid of... might be an idea to have a word with Gordon... I'm sure that he would be interested to know if his customers are not happy... I know that he likes to keep on our good side... My impression is that he likes to keep the customers happy...
  15. LOL @ Neil!!!!! The seawell is a ship mate!!! North Breakwater in perterhead... is exactly what it says, its the north breakwater of peterhead harbour...
  16. Nah, I'm not that red impreza... Ive not seen it about town for a good while now... Not that ive seen it more than a couple of times anyways... Dunno if anyones seen it lately have they?
  17. You have to admit, that Andy has a point there, you can save a lot of blood and tears just buying what is an amazing car... I know, Ive seen it in the flesh... I even have pics somewhere... I'll post them in a minute....
  18. You know I have had a bit of hassle with other cars (and even VANS!!!) wanting to have a pop... Now, I'm no angel, If I think its safe, and the other party is getting on my t*ts then I'll just leave them, get a bit of distance , either that or let them go (hopefully they will) it depends on what the conditions are and the kind of mood that I am in... the WORST one that I remember was when a van was tailgating me, I doubled the distance from the traffic in front (as your supposed to) I had no chance of overtaking the cars in front of me, so he started getting closer to me, giving all these aggressive hand signals, made a really dodgy manouver accross a roundabout to get past me and a few others, then, when the road opened out into a dual carridgeway, I went to get up to speed and pass him by, and he was swerving accross my path to block me, throwing stuff out the window and all sorts... was very odd... was trying to have just a nice gentle drive home from work (was commuting daily 70 miles one way at the time!)
  19. Ah well, although Ian has been very helpfull to me ins his fairly short time there (its only been a year-ish...) I tend to speak to kev first anyways, but it is nice to know who you are speaking to like... Glad to hear that Phil is not away after all!
  20. Have they started letting you take cameras on the ring again? or is that still banned....?
  21. Well if it was sitting oposite the Seawell, it might just be someone come up to do something on the boat whilst it in port perhaps? mebbe some one up from Aberdeen...
  22. Nah arthur, I think Andy was sayign that if the ROs wanted the Scottish scoobies supporter logo thingy, then He would have to mess about with it... I dont know what it is he needs to do like, all back magic to me! Cheers Kim, I figured it would be like!
  23. Dunno, think its just for andy to change when he gets round to it... think theres more fiddling to do with Arthurs from the sound of Andy's post the other day (something to do with the Scottish Scoobies supporters logo thats under his name...) Which reminds me of something else I need to do...
  24. Advertising for a parts manger, does that mean that Phil has left too!!! now I WOULD be upset, Ian was good with me too, theres been a lot of occasions that Phil has helped me out like... He even managed to source a set off wheels from another customer for me!!!
