LOL!!! Well mate I dont think that your sport will handle as well as a turbo, as i'm not sure (I could be wrong) i think that parts are diffferent... but the thing is I thought that my 1.8 handled well till I got my uk turbo... So yeah, really, as even now, thats one thing that a lot of us are disscussing is upgrading the handling just now... So I really think thats your best bet mate!

Em thats indigo's advert, its not it...
-
Oh and Cashmere yellow... are you sure its not "CUSTARD CREAM"
-
to be honest, I prolly wouldn't bother too much with messing about it, the PPP is out for you though, as its a turbo thang, and you'll find that choice if exhaust is going to be more limited because you dont have the turbo... You could still change the backbox mind... Also, I wouldn't bother with putting a turbo in, as at the end of the day you'd be better off buying a turbo'd car in the first place, the sports are not really as moddable as you have been thinking before you bought her... and anayways, it would probably hit you harder for insurance modding to put a turbo in than it would just buying a turbo model... I used to have a 1.8 wagon, and apart from alloys, (it had steel wheels and hubcaps before) I never did anything to her (and I tell you it put a few turbo cars to shame....)... the non turbos you I think are just best to take them for what they are... although if anything, upgrade the handling.... Geo can tell you ALL about that!!!!!

I assume that you ar talking about the SIDC Sticker shop....? I was wondering about them too... If you get in touch with Phil (the chairman) then he should have the details or if we are not still affiliated, who is good to go to, OR try John (Welsho) as his might be more local...

could just be a sticky switch, or one thats broken down inside, I perhaps the spring has gone in it... I'm sure its an easy fix...

not a bad looking car, looks very tidy, theres one simelar just round the corner from where I live... It might be a sport also... I cant remember offhand... The colour, is very unusual, not one that I would like personally, but if you like it thats all that matters, at least you never went for WRblue!!! I do think that getting a colour thats different from all the rest, just goes to make the car a little bit special! but then perhaps I'm biased on that point..... One thing tho... loose the bumper strips on the doors, it suits some cars, well just the darker ones, they are not so great on lighter cars...

thefastone replied to teocalli's topic in Scottish Scoobies
buy a new one... You'd surely get a new one for that money.... in fact, I should have thought that gearboxes would for sure be an item that Subaru would do part ex.... they do it on a few parts as it goes... -

Nice one George, I for one am interested to learn more, Certainly I am really enjoying reading your building a track car threads that are very interesting, but I wold also Like to know how this can be used on the road, you know, with the crap road quality, and beign able to keep some of the ride quality... as it is, (a I think Ive said before) its somthing that I am looking to do to my car next... Another question that I have though, is that Ive heard that you only need the ARB on the back, and theres no point to fitting the fron tone, I'm sure I heard that last year sometime, how true is that mate?

Hmmmm... £60

Hmmm bit of a glass half empty/half full thing there... Way I look at it, were not lucky at all, your just very unlucky.... but then think about it, you live in much better looking place, thats what Island life is about mate! In all fairness, it costs that much more to get the petrol to you, so thats why its that much for you... you want it you gotta travel for it... although, right enough I went up to skye last month, just for the day, and couldn't get any past Inverness.... Well people have mixed views about the Tezzer 99, some like it, some say its great, but then I think theres been more people, Myself included, that think its pants... I dont think that my engine really ran too well on it, infact, I thought that if anything It was running a bit more rough on Tesco stuff...

Police Exhaust Noise Level Meters ?
thefastone replied to scoob fae ork's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Cheers for that cracking explination mate!!! it certainly is nice to have a fairly balanced and sensible view on what the actual score is... it helps to know the score like... Col and Del, Yeah its things like that I think are not fair, and I would have contested them there, perhaps I woldn't have said anything to them at the time on hind sight Like I said earlier, because I suppose its always the thing that if you say things like that, theres always the danger that they will go looking for something else and "find" something... And Whilst I know that there are a few coppers that would be entirely fine with you, I KNOW that there are others that will happily do you for what ever they can... I dont know if I would want to take the chance...
