  1. Now this is something, I thought that the droplinks were just solid pieces and not adjustable... Or am I thinking of a different part? Nice write up again mate!
  2. Sorry I couldn't help myself....
  3. Yeah, but I tell you it I cant say that it did my performance any good.....
  4. Yeah that pretty much says it all for me right enough...
  5. no its much better in Aberdeen, but it does depend on where you fil up. The place I normally go to is pretty often on of the cheapest (tho not always) and I was 101.89 last night... so yeah really bad, but not as bad as everyone else by the looks of it... As for elgin, its ALWAYS been expensive, and Ive seen me holding on till the last second just to make it to keith, as its that much cheaper... sometimes, tho, theres no choice...
  6. Well after the eventual sucess of Cal's Gauge fit, I decided that I would get them fitted also, In fact Ive been saying over a year now that I was going tho get these done! So first Clas Job done, and even a we ride in the BHP service wagon! Although, I am glad to say that I never had any BIZZARE electrical problems with my fit out like Cal seem to get.... Cal, did you ever find out why your Sidelghts wouldn't go off after Russell fitted your Defi's?
  7. Yes! Demand! You heard the man!!!! Even if its not the Scoob....
  8. Ha! this thread came up, and you know what, Ive seen him TWICE today!!!! In his Scoob too no less!!!!! I thought that you never had it anymore Ken? Or was it perhaps not you driving... (Loooked like you...)
  9. mines came up and I'm also with KM...
  10. Thanks Geo - Legend!!!
  11. Tidy, although one thing Geo, I would love to know as you are doing these mods what exactly each mod is doing for the handling etc for the car, as handling is going to be the next thing to get my attention after my gauges go in tomorrow... Cheers for the right up mate!
  12. Well I'm in the same boat as you as it were, Never making the meets as I am always away for work, but we had a reasonable turnout at the last one, and the next one should be Next monday...
  13. Oh yeah, I know about Phatbox, but then Phatbox itself is apparently not compatible with Subaru, and Im still pondering getting a Music Keg... Also looking into making some modifications to fit a double din Sterieo so If I end up going for a Kenwood unit then I might just go ahead and get one...
  14. Ooooh, the Music Keg..... Ive wanted one of those for a long time..... Same they are not so readly available in the uk....
  15. Yep, I'm with Gus there, White wheels on a black car, especially such a tidy looking wagon like that - Tidy as ****!
  16. Right enough, if you actually get as far as a 3rd ban, then I dont know, perhaps you should mebbe have a think about whether driving is really for you... Once is bad (I should know), twice, begins to start getting silly... were not talking 3rd time lucky!!!!
  17. You know Ive just noticed my car doing this, just after I had it serviced... and I'm getting exactly the same thing as you are describing, although ive not had any mods done on the power at all yet... not saying that it wasn't doing it before, but ive only just noticed it really... again worse when its cold...
  18. Tidy mate... Might just save that to my phone, if i can check it myself thats ever better! Cheers for the Link Graeme!
  19. Well he was at the monthly meet about 3 weeks ago, I think that JohnS perhaps speaks to him fairly often, but I'm not sure... But yeah, ive been thinking the same thing... I know that he is still written up as the Aberdeen RO... but is that actually still the case?
  20. Oh Just in time! Nice one, thanks Cal! Well I missed the first 5 mins, and have just watched 5 mins of adverts!!!! Edit: well either that or it started late.... ?
  21. Well I've never heard that right enough... most curious...
  22. Yeah, I agree that sucks... I dont think you should have to declare after they have been "spent" sill it was more for if your a bad boi or you do something again... the courts cant take into account points that have expired after the 3 year mark, and so cant use it against you... Besides, I dont know, if you write away to the DVLA and have it erased off your licence, then they need to find another way to prove it I should have thought... but then computers I think are putting paid to all that.... I think when one knows they all know... Including the bobbies...
  23. Nah, You dont really see much of an increase in your premiums tbh, I think mines perhaps went up £100 after a month and a half ban... again from an english magistrate... I think its when you have more than about 6 points that they really start to pay attention.... Also, I belive that bans are not like points in the respect that when you have served the ban, its a spent conviction, unlike points, that are valid for what? 3 years, to be removed from your licence after 4years, and no longer have to be declaired after 5 years... I think its only something like 6 months till I have a completely clean drivers License again...
  24. PMSL!!!!
