  1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA your funny, I like you!!!! in all fairness, though, I thought that your 6 pot APs were also nice, although they are not as big as I thought?
  2. Yeah, You pure LOVED your sideways action!!! I'm not really THAT long home, Got back into Aberdeen about 10:30... (Did visit the relatives first like...) so when I sot out the pics, I'll post them up... I'll do it now, so that I dont forget!
  3. I must have come past you also... but trying to remember what i've seen today!!! lol I have to say as i was sitting in Behind Andy just before that, and it was fantastic, Andy, you have the Sexiest Impreza I've ever seen!!! (WRC car excepted...)
  4. is there not someone that does stickers for the SIDC? I'm sure that there might be a contect for the SIDC sticker shop on the forums somewhere, or also Speak to Phil if any one should know, then he should is that not 2 cars he has had done?
  5. Is Anyone else got a classic with a Double din sterieo space in the centre console? (I'm waiting for Ross to get back to me like...)
  6. Yeah, He's right, some really good pics there, including this one... Getty Images image search - editorial pics, in the last 30 days
  7. Have you tried getting on to the press, You might find that they might be able to help you out with sime good pics....
  8. Ahhhhhhh YOUR JC!!!!!! LOL After the Wacky Races on Sunday, and I just realised who I was talking to....
  9. Well as it goes, I removed my ribbon just this evening... not because i dont care any more or that the moment has gone, but because, I dont know, the balck ribbon, I feel that If i had left it on, It loses meaning... I dont know if that makes sense to anyone else, and to be honest I dont care, but i just think that, if thats there permanatly, its just not as special after a while... but the stickers... nah, they are there to stay, and in fact, although I never got them before, (and Yeah Ive still not ordered them yet!) I'm still ordering the vinyl stickers, the signature ones, for me tailgate... i dont expect that I'll get rid of them any time in the fuchooor... just because the time of mourning is for all intensive porpoises is over, dont eman that i cant still have my tribute... We still need to remember him.... Remember one thing, that rememberance, is not only for one day of the year... (I feel the same way about rememberance sunday)
  10. is there not placees that you can Hire the down pipe for the MOT...?
  11. Yeh, he does have one.... I'll have to see If I can get a hold of him.... Cheers...
  12. Looking for some pics from a 2000 JDM with a Double din (sterieo) centre console.... Can anyone helpe me out here....? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Yeah, I think that I have to agree, there SHOULD be an article, and that it should reflect what it was, I dont think that anyone expected a happy article, but also it should reflect all the modds and emotions that were there in the day, I also think that it should include somthing about the first run past, and our tribute on Sunday, as that was a bit thing, that I think can be too easily forgotten or overshadowed... 150 imprezas was a great tribute, but that was ONLY 150, there what? hundreds or thousands in the club? remember, there are a lot more people here that perhaps dont use the forums, or that couldn't make the service, and I think that for those people as much as for the people that were there, that want a lasting reminder of the day... Oh and I would be VERY dissapointed if this article were not to make it into the next issue of True grip, I just recived my copy today, and to be honest, I was a little dissapointed at the small article that was in there about his death (nothing about the others in the accident either), where CADS got yet another 2 page spread (again)...
  14. Well I dont know, I think that front end looks a little bit like their Galant? but yeah I suppse the skylone looks a little bit the same in the front end, but then the whole cal is looking so much more tame... I'll be honest, Subaru's newest piece of rubbish, still isn't standing up to Mitsubushi's newest piece of rubbish... I did note though, that sentince in there tho... "Mitsubishi feels the Evo needs to move away from its boy-racer image" Sound familiar?
  15. To be honest, there are soe very nice double din units on the market, just now And I think that if you have that space in you car, you could do very well to have a look at them, STiBandit Fitted one to his car, and I have to say that it was very nice... I wished that I could fit one to my car, but undortunitly the classics are only single DIN... As for speakers, I wouldn't know what the best choice is myself, I do tend to ask others for those opinions, but unless you are really anal aobut it , I shoun't have thought that you would NEED an amp...
  16. thanks Russell, when are you home next by the way, I'm STILL sitting at home as it goes... the longest since ive been offshore...
  17. Been in there a fair bit this past 2 weeks since ive been home, and still they are putting up with me!!!! LOL! But seriously, I have to say thanks, I found out after I got home that My MOT had run out, and they Managed to Rush it though for me the next day, and normally trying to get the car in there for an MOT takes forever! THEN! I purchased and had fitted My Prodrive 330mm Brake kit from them, craking job done, along with a service, shame that I had to wait over night for the car in the end due to a part breaking, Cest la Vie! but the Job was done, and I'm well impressed! And with all of that, I got my members discount! so a few hunderd quid saved there too!!! AND they fitted my parts that I had sourced elsewhere! Kev especially has been a great help! Oh and not to mention that I purchased my new SWRT jacket from them just in time for the weekend! All in all, I'm happy with the service i get from them, We have a good deal there I have to admit, Being a member, for me, has been well worth it! Thanks guys! Oh, and thats even after the *shock* early morning phone call too....
  18. Ach if waving is not good enough a signal... then were all domed.... you know that sits something that get complained about every so often... and its normally that the New ages dont wave tot eh classics... Personally I think its just down to jealosy.... 'MON THE CLASSICS!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Well I got home later on in the evening, and yeah, still feeling it... Was a very touvhing day today guys, and I have to say thankyou to Ally and grant, amongst others for having the vision to get us all together, you know that if you guys had not goen to all this effort today would have been a disaster... and I have to also Join you in giving thanks to the Polis for taking such good care of our cars whilst we were away, although they did a rubbish job valeting it... it was still minging when I got back!!! I wished that I had brought me camera today, but alas I forgot to pick it up on the way out the door this morning... ah well I just have to settle for the pics that you guys took, and theres some great pics there I have to say... I like I think mostly everyone else nearly had a wee tear going on there, but the bit that nearly did me in, was in the second Film, when Colin said how he wanted to be remembered... Today will stay with me for a very long time. Thanks everyone, you made today happen!
  20. thats something, Ive not had a chance to take any pics of my car since i fitted them last night, but they are looking the Mutts Nutts!!!

  23. Right enough ive never really understood the whole tree hugging thing, Either you want clean emmissions or you dont.... which is it to be... Ans saying no to nuclear AND no to fossil fuels is not allowed... you cant have it both ways...
  24. Fitted my ones this evening, although I never had time to take pics of them, it was just tooo dark for that... But tomorrow, I'll be in AWD in perth, then at the rally day, so should get a chance to take pics... Internal stickers, were fiddly as all hell to fit, but I tell you they look ****ing awsome aye!!!
