  1. Yeah that looks like a quality movie!!! Death race 2000 Trailer
  2. Sorry chap, No meant to offend, I just felt that the 2 threads that you have posted have started overly negative, and as I've not see you post anything else, I can only see one kind of attitude, and thats mostly negative... Anyway, Like has been said, we can be very helpful, so... Really brakes wise, depends on what you want and the budget that you have, Generally the 6-pot APs are the favoured amongst most on here, Personally I have the Prodrive 330mm Conversion, I think that its good, although I think that upgrading the pads again to the Ferodo DS2500 will make them better. I've not used the APs so I cant give comment on the difference. But if you dont want to splash the cash, and I suspect that you do, as you have already mentioned an expensive kit... there are plenty of very good kits for a lot less money, I'm afraid that I cant think of any off the top of my head, as Ive too many other things on at the moment to remember, but someone else should be able to suggest something for you...
  3. A bit BUm considering the other events that have gone ahead this year... even the colin Mcrae stages went ahead, wasn't that as the families request? Not that it matters, I'd never have made it down I shouldn't have thought...
  4. Well exactly as has just been said you know the cost of the gear if you've had all these modded cars. just buy the bits you need instead of wasting money on a "stop gap". whats your point? there are plenty of kits around that are very good got the money, the 6-pot APs have been mentioned, but there are plenty of cheaper alternatives. Everything is not a drama...
  5. Hi and Welcome.... PICS PLEASE!!!!
  6. I really wouldn't bother changing the engine on that, by the time that you change the engine, to get the same power, you would be just as well buying new car...
  7. Panel filter - don't drill the airbox.
  8. I would probably keep the stickers too like... Some mods would be ok, but theres not LOADS that you can do with the sports anyways that would make a difference to the special edition... or I wouldn't have thought so anyways... (arn't most pars geard towards the turbo'd cars?)
  9. congratulations!
  10. You'll get that sport sticker from the Stealers mate, unless you just want a graphics place to make one up, but to be honest, there would be a big chance that a graphics place wouldn't be able to match it exactly... The Mcrae sticker is looking nice there mate! nice one!
  11. Nice one Alan... Gennerally, if theres stuff like bank cards or a mobile phone, or something to identify the person, I would try to get it back to them, either by the cop shop or getting in touch with them if I could... If it were just cash dropped on the floor however... any amount... no identifier (ie: I never saw them drop it)... and I'm afraid that would be lining my beer glass at a bar near you...
  12. I think that the key here is to re read what you have just typed... thing to note here, is that the dealers know pretty much nothing about nothing when it comes to things like this... they just see that its cheap and send you on your way, because they are happy, they have helped you, you have got it cheap, and they may even have some sort of deal on with the place... note that's why if you were needing it done yourself, you wouldn't even think about looking at the dealer for that kind of work, not their field as it were... point of note, a certain Subaru Garage in Aberdeen, use a painter guy just outside town, he did a respray on my roof, (warranty job) ended up re-spraying the whole roof... got the car back, and the lacquer was coming off the door which the garage paid for also, but then he is cheap for them because they send all their work there...
  13. I would be inclined to agree, the Alcon brakes are good, I have them on my car...
  14. Yeah do it Dave, Go for the Teins....
  15. Aye and the happy new year from here too!
  16. tidy! only a few shots to test the water, its all downhill from there!
  17. Yeah I know, but it adds to the drama!!!!
  18. Bummer, I went to go look it up on the BBC i-player, and its not there... that polar topgear was there for whoever was moaning that they wern't getting to see it...
  19. I think that now may be the time to make sure that your security is up to scratch! Incedently, the cars that have been stolen... I would assume that they had no alarm/immobiliser?
  20. There you go, now that I've seen it, I have to say get the Prodrive grilles on your car John!!!!
  21. Some nice shots there mate, I love the grille closeup especially...
  22. I thought that the P1s had teh Prodrive (Alcon) brakes as standard....?
  23. Well thats ok Stu, It was nice to meet you but then next time you gotta be sociable!!!!
