Thanks for the feedback folks. Goling with the overall consensus of opinion, it seems that its not such a great idea. Ho hum! I'd love the DC camo design, but at what cost and who could do that, plus there are no decent images to copy from. I don't want the SWRT graphics again, too many people have them and I want something a bit different. Perhpaps the car would look better in the metal with the real graphics on, Chopped mockups are never going to give an accurate representation. Back to the drawing board I guess...

Cal I bought an HKS uppipe but when the turbo came out we were all srprised that the uppie was cat-free. The HKS was slightly wider in the bore, so I suppose that might have helped a little. Performance mods, in terms of speed are pretty scant to be honest. All I have is the Meercat Sports cat down pipe, cotton airfiler, VF34 turbo and that's it (plus map of course). This gives me just over 340 bhp and a baw-hair under 400 ft/lbs torque. It peaks at 1.4 / 1.5 bar of boost; It's pretty quick! I managed to break a piston so I have since added forged pistons, uprated oil and fuel pump, racing shells and a V8 intercooler. Since adding these, the power-output never really changed but for one or two horses, its all down to the turbo (and the 2.5) really. John

ARGH!!! The seeds of doubt! Any suggestions? I wouldn't go for dayglo again, just bright yellow or something similiar. Try not to pay too much attention to the colour matching as its jsut a mock up, so there is no way to get a totally accurate representation. Thanks so far!

Some of you said you'd like to see a more complete mock up of the Monster graphics for the Hawkeye, so I tried to do that. It was difficult becasue I couldn't find decent donor graphics - or didn't have the patience to keep looking. Anyway, here is a front and side few of the proposed design. Opinions welcome, good or bad.

My VF34 puts out 343BHP and the only mods I have is a sports cat. Andy.F stated that I would get another 30 or so with a full decat. So yeah, around 340 - 360.

Nice one mate. I have the VF34 in my car (MY06 WRX Saloon), so you are in for a very big treat when you do finally go down this route. Like you, I wanted mapped for standard fuel but Andy looked at me like I was stupid and I caved in! Enjoy your "new" car and bravo to the fuel saving part too! Oh and yeah, bigger anchors will be required!
