Just wondering... has anyone received the stuff the JohnS sends by e-mail before the track day; scrutineering form, warm up groups etc.? I don't recal ever receiving them this late, but I do recal always panicking.

Yeah, there is company there called Wheels Around who bring a truck load of sets of wheels and let you hire them for the day, cool, but too expensive for me.

Yup Got a loan of a battery (thanks to STI Pretender) and wanted to get the rest of my graphics on, but the weather has other ideas Other than that, pretty much set for tomoz - yeee ha!

I'll need to pop all the blisters out of the stripes if you are going to look that close Defo the batt mate. Took the car in to the dealer and they did the test on it. It's been iffy for a while. Had to bump it at a meet one night after sitting outside the car with the radio on while we were eating chips; rather embaressing!

Certainly will, but I'd hate having to go cap in hand every 20 or 30 minutes asking people to bring their car round to where my car is etc. Plus, I'd need to get a jump after the driver's briefing, haha!

Not holding a charge from the alternator, so an overnight charge wont help, besides, I don't have one.

Thanks John. I am getting a new one under warranty though, otherwise I'd just buy a new one. If I can't get sorted I might just go down that route. although, I wouldn't know the first place to look for a breakers...

Hi Folks I have a dead battery which means I have to bump the car everytime I turn it off. Took it to the dealers and they dont have one til Monday. This would be ok, but I am at KH on Sat and REALLY need a battery! Is there any way anyone can lend me a battery? I know its a weird ask, but It's either that or getting a bump start everytime I leave the pits on Saturday! If anyone can help I can pick the battery up tomorrow afternoon or night. Much appreciated!
