  1. Not really Stephen, been scared to hit the brakes hard jsut incase it was a brake-wear issue. Now that I knw its not, I will give them a good stamping.
  2. Thanks! But I have no idea what I am doing and other than a Leatherman, I have no tools! Just a clueless owner me! [:$]
  3. When I am braking (low or high speeds) there is a loud rubbing/grinding sound coming from the fronts. It sounds as though the pads are worn to the metal, but as you can see from the pictures below, there is plenty of lining left on them. After all, they have only done 9500 miles (one track day in the rain). Also, it doesn't happen all the time! Any suggestions as to what could be causing this? Driver Side Passenger Side
  4. Gus, I can do Harthill tonight - gimme a time and place. J
  5. Aye £200 aw in gets you Stainless right through. worth doing the decat on its own £80 or the deresonated on its own £120. Decat for some BHP and a nice deap tone for deresonated. Gus Waiting oan the missus coming in. When could I get the decat if "she who must be obeyed" gives me the go ahead? J
  6. ............and these can be had for a mere £80[] I might be interested in this! Just as long as my motor doesn't start doing 15 MPG! Will I lose much MPG? Hardly the questions of a hardened Scoobie owner, are they? Oh! I already have the Prodrive back bit, that'll be ok, won't it? J John, It wont have that sort of affect on your car. I'd recommend the cat pipe £80 and de-resonated centre section £120 for the perfect scooby sound ie nice deep burble but not being heard on the moon.[][] PM me if your interested in any of these bits. All manufactured in stainless steel to a high standard by my buddy Paul. A good number of members on here can testify to the quality. Gus Gus, is that £200 total? I think the 3rd decat might be the only option I can afford at present. Is it worthwhile jsut going for that? J

  10. ouch how old are you? your car is 400bhp+ if i remember? He must be about 15 years old, and a 1000 bhp motor going by that quote - scandalous! Try Admiral after Elephant. They are teh same company, but when I switched a few years ago, Admiral beat Elephant - worth a go.
  11. Im not sure if I love or hate that blue/black blob eye at the end.[:|]
