Dude.....what did you expect? £20? lol! They basically repaired my 1 inch scratch(down to the metal) then resprayed the whole wing for £78 for me. I had a quote from a bodyshop of £200 to fix it at the time. Well no, but you got a whole wing painted for £78, so a tiny chip should be a bit less that a ton, don't you think?

I called them up for a quote to repair a paint chip about 3mm in size. I was told he'd need to see it and couldn't quote me over the phone. I drove in and one of the guys came out. Showed him the chip and he said that he'd need to go and see someone (the boss-guy I assume). He came out and gave me the quote without the guy seeing it, in spite of the fact that he said he'd need to see it. Oh! He wanted £85 plus VAT; so near a hunner notes for a 3mm chip. No thanks! Painted it in myself. Granted not as good as it was the day it was new, but at £100, I can live with it.

To the contrary Neil: I think an article on how to photoshop cars would be fantastic. Doesn't have to be too indepth. I think you should do one and if it doesn't get published you can "PDF it" and like downloadable in your signature... So waddaya say!? [Y]

Yeah. I have sent a couple of eMails to some companies inquiring about the de-cat pipe for the MY06 but as yet no respose. I guess they are not that keen to make money. Don't understand it. BTW Stephen, how does your exhaust set up affect your MPG? Why don't you use Meercat to make you a full custom decat system.....they are not bad btw[] Cost. Plus I already have the de-res centre section and Prodrive backbox. Just need that last wee bit.

I see. But with the extra power, albeit 10BHP or so , there must me a fuel cost. Perhaps its such a small performance gain that the fuel hit is small too. I thought, but perhaps wrongly (as all I know about cars has been learned since owning a Scooby), that the cat-less pipe allowed the by-product to be pushed out easier meant the turbo was spinning a bit faster and earlier therefore more compression and thus more fuel. I'll bet I have just made myself a laughing stock, haven't I? J

I LOVE sunglasses! Oakley for me too! I have two pairs like those above (Juliets): One pair with silver frames and green lenses the other with darker frames and gold lenses. Also have wires which I don't wear much and Oakley Whys which are the ones that live in the car and wear the most. Gave away my cheapo Ray Ban as they only cost $90 and sold my Pennys and vault on eBay, as I no longer wore them. Been a couple of years since I have bought any new ones... hmmm might have to rectify that soon but at well over £200 a pair I might jsut get Scooby bits instead!
