  1. jamie, As grant says go for a TD05 16g, thats what was in my car and was running 330bhp / 310torque, spool up is nice and early too. A second hand one should'nt cost you too much, keep an eye out on scoobynet. Wait until you get all your parts before you get it remapped, including a turbo mark
  2. it is a good time for buying at the moment as there is plenty of scoobs for sale, over 600 on pistonheads!! good luck , 7k should get you something decent. mark
  3. Ian grieve at camelon gives a good service. mark
  4. I can confirm that evokiller drives his car like a man
  5. sounded like a good day with people getting good figures, i was gona come along, but it is murder when you are scoobyless. All those scoobs would have just got me too exited. Hopefully my insurance will sort me out shortly and "I Will Be Back" Anyway well done all those who organised it, and i heard that jac won the bottle of vodka i donated, jammy buger has got it in his shop for £12.99[] Mark
  6. Cheers m8, the other cars were not exactly replaced kinda dumped, and i only got the car in feb so def not for sale. i do get the feeling that it was well planned though
  7. dave, the 9 staying were my mark junior's pals all around 8 or 9 years old, so glad they never woke up. still no sign of the car[:'(] I never subscribed to tracker as the car was in the garage with 2 blocking it and i only use it at the weekend, you would never think that someone would go to that length! I have spent the last few hours driving the wifes car around the balfron, aberfoyle roads. following on from where my wallet was found just before the kirkhouse inn, but no joy. dam w**kers stole the key fobs to my laguna and left it looked at the bottom of the drive, can't get into it and coz it is a key fob and push start button i will need to get renault to take it away and put new lock / re-programme a new key fob, and that will not be cheep!!! especially when in the small print of our insurance it states for keys are stolen they will only provide you with 100 quid towards the cost.. Anyone know if this has to be done at renault and also does anyone have any body who works in renault so i can get a good deal.
  8. they fished the hoose keys through the letter box, opened the door, got the garage keys, moved my other 2 cars oot the drive and rolled the scoob oot the drive , put other cars back then made off Locked the door from the outside and kept the keys for the car at the bottom of the drive so i couldny chase them! they took my wallet which has already been found on the road from lennoxtown to blanefield just before the kirkhouse inn, so looks like they are taking the back roads.. Worst thing was young mark had 8 friends staying last night all sleeping on the livingroom floor!!! I heard a noise at 4am and the wife got up to check on the kids as they were still carrying on at 1am so thought they may be up again, came back to bed and said kids were fine, 10mins later the scoob fires up and i am up like a shot trying to get out the house to chase them in my boxers, certainly glad no one was hurt, however gutted that they were in the hoose and went to alot of hassle to steal the scoob
  9. just a quick post as i am still shell shocked, fecking car was nicked at 4:30am this morning , they were in the house and took keys etc.. took car out garage and move my other 2 cars in and out the drive to get the scob out. then locked the door fro the outside taking the other car keys with them. when i heard the scoob starting i jumped up and with all the panic, couldny get out the house or get in other car to chase them.. Any way if any body sees my car then report to the police. Reg is BP52OSK wr blue , subaru sunstripe, blacked out rear windows, pFF7 gold wheels, sti mud flaps and a damm loud exhaust. Thanks Mark
  10. usually the scamera points out the back doors and cashes in on the on coming traffic, or sometimes through the side doors when they park on motorway flyovers, but same deal they point towards the on coming traffic. good luck anyway mark
  11. well done m8, you are deffo the No1 SIDC tunning nutter!! your car must be seriously quick, again well done[Y] mark
  12. Someone made the mistake of telling me that subaru's were built for speed[] Thought i would put their theory to the test!
  13. The fault codes were: 0545 - Exhaust gas temperature sensor circuit low input 1301 - Fire due to increased exhaust temperature 1544 - High exhaust temperature detected Nothing on the MAF??? all seem to be exhaust related? Fecking exhaust must on fire! LOL Was definately the MAF that was at fault as i done a search and other guys had the same symptoms which were a goosed MAF. Seemingly i could have unplugged the MAF and the car would have nursed its way home.
  14. cheers m8 for sorting out my MAF, car is running fine now. That was a stroke of luck cleaning it with wd40 and a bit of tissue, worked a treat[] Also thanks to stieve for resetting my warning light.. Mark
  15. Definately a great day out, the run up was a bit too slow, mark jnr thought jac's car was playing up again, or we were going to sunday school[] But peter soon sorted this on the way down, a different kettle of fish!! one highlight we nearly forgot was that workman diving for cover when jac's car made an almighty pop! LOL Mark PS Jac thanks for the oil top up later on after we got home.... could'nt believe that shell garage wanted £13.99 for 1 litre of synthetic oil, no danger i was giving them that sort of dosh!!

  22. looks well fecked m8, hope you are okay. Hope you get sorted with your insurance. There is plenty of scoobs for sale out there too, so go on you know you need to buy another.. Mark
  23. Any final details yet as it is only 2 weekends away and most of us will have to make arrangements, (bank loan for fuel etc..) also mark junior keeps going on about it.. Mark
  24. great increase in figures with a slight addition of your special ingredients[] you just need to get the automatic C0 2 discharge unit fitted now and you are sorted.
  25. about time you unleashed some of that scooby rumble[], seen as you have the quietest scoob in the toon. I had the normal green panel filter in my sti, think that would be good enough, remember you will need to cut the wee lugs of the edge of the filter to make it fit. Mark
