For those who knew Scooby Dooby Blue (Paul Stewart)

Scooby Dooby Blue (Paul) died this afternoon at 1:30pm.

Paul had a heart transplant 7 years ago at the age of 25. He didn't like to tell anyone about this as he felt they treated him differently and only close people knew.

On Monday morning at 5am he was rushed to Ninewells Hospital after entering cardiac arrest.

He arrested again this afternoon at 1:30pm and the doctors couldn't revive him.

It is sad to see a young man of 32 go and he leaves behind his wife Nicola and his 6 year old daughter, Kirsty.

I too am devastated as he was my best friend and business partner.

We all knew his life would be short but it still doesn't make it any easier.

If you think someone might have known Paul then please let them know.

Thanks

Nick

I didn't know him, but news like this is always sad. As they say - only the good die young. Condolences to family, friends and to yourself.

My sympathy goes to Pauls family and friends.

I bought Pauls last Subaru last November and can say he was a pleasure to deal with, a true gent. I met his wife and daughter just before Christmas last year and my thoughts are with them now.....

Rest In Peace my friend

I'm in shock. Knew Paul for about 6 years. Met him when we got our first scoob and myself, Paul, Pete, Stevie Dora and Gary Mcmullan were the kinda original Scoob crew from Dundee. Spent many Sundays at crail and hammering round the local roads with Paul.

A true gent. Always up for a laugh. Always smiling[:(]

Very very sad news.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Terrible - I am sure there will be quite a few forum members who will have met Paul, and bought one of his many Scoobs.  Look after his cars.

Paul was a great lad, met him on many occasions, always guaranteed a laugh...except when he always got us lost on a run. [:(]

Thoughts are with his family.
