Bing Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 First car - 1964 VW beetle - great car (except when the accelerator got stuck to the floor occasionally). Fully reconditioned inside and out& 1303S engine Then a 1991 Mk 2 VW Golf 16v Campaign Ltd Edition- will always be one of my favourites Ford Mondeo ST24- nice V6 noise but a bit boring Scoob - now my fav
st3ph3n Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I've only had 3 cars. First one at 17, kept it for 3 years, changed and kept that for 3 and a half, and then the Impreza. 98-01 Honda Civic 1.4i - great fun, handled like a go-kart and wasn't too slow. Would have loved a 1.6 vtec though. Fantastic first car. 01-04 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 Club - got loads of money off it through GM credit card points, so it was dead cheap. Very comfortable, great base for a good stereo install, cruise control was magic on the motorways. Front end was useless, tyres lasted 8-10K. Did the job when I needed it really. 04-current - Impreza. Got first full time job after uni after being a contractor whore and ploughed my ill gotten gains into this. 5 years at uni all to buy a car. Worth it? Damn straight.
clutdav Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Well I've not done too badly considering I am only 26!!!!!!!!! 1.) A Mark 2 Vauxhall Astra 1.3 - loved it to bits as it was my first car and I put loads of bits on her. 2.) A Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Sport - I put a huge bodykit and stereo in this one as the modding bug bit hard. 3.) A Peugeot 306 1.6 Meridian - see below........... 4.) A Honda Civic Type R - my first properly fast car............ 5.) THen the beast................ Dave

This was also lowered with 16" alloys. 7th car was an R-reg 1.8 Petrol metallic-silver Audi A4. Lowered, Alloys, tinted windows etc 8th car was a 51-plate 2-litre Diesel Apple-green Peugeot 307. irish al Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Ford Sierra 1.6 - This car wouldnt die, it was my dads. He drove it for three years, then my older bro got it for three years, i had it for three years and my younger bro had it for three years, we all learned to drive in it and after twelve long years of serious abuse arround the farm/fields/back pothole lanes and it failing another MOT it wasnt worth fixing. However it still went and only stopped after we ripped the complete arse out of it arround my dads field for a week My own cars over 1995 Ford Mondeo 1.8 - blew the enging up, got a replacement engine, ford didnt change the timeing belt at the same time and it broke. They wouldnt cover me so got another engine by some dodgy guy. Never went the same again. 1990 Peugeot 409 1.6 - went faster than the knackered mondeo sitting in my drive. Eventually traded both in 1998 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 - Knackered the gearbox, got it fixed, then the bolts stripped the cast housing and ended up with a rachet and strap holding the gear box to the engine. Drove it for 6 months then sold it. 1995 - Ford Escort 1.3 - Cost me £250. Drove it for a year andnever had any trouble. (Was the sierra coming back to haunt me) 2003 Subaru WRX - A dream come true. Future Cars: S U B A R U

Isuzu Trooper 3.1 treid to get away from the modding bug 10. Mercedes C class AMG Stunning to look at but terrible handling, so i filled it with Stereo Gear 11. Subaru Impreza Wagon The fastest thing fron 0-60+ so far. had her for 3 years and modded about everything on her. 12.
