Think he loads up a "generic base" one he has written then tweaks it to get the maximum from each individual car, certainly lots of time spent on the rollers doing tweaks till he & the customer are happy. No complaints here anyway Daz

Oh I remember 1st time my Scoob was on a rolling road, was scared stiff that it might blow up and the noise it made during the run, then you came along with the RA and blew everyone away. IIRC it had some trouble staying on the rollers too Daz

Ooo youv'e broken Adams Car !! Better break out the Skyline Crank Position Sensor or MAF gets my vote, but I would have though MAF would just reduce power rather than none at all. Does it have the single coil pack on the top of the engine? Maybe thats on its way out - intermittant sparking. Daz

Well picked mine up on Sunday. All remapped and ready to go. Not had a chance to drive it much, took it to the airport yesterday and it awaits my return Initial impressions - much smoother engine than the 1.9, bit noisier, too early to say on MPG but bound to be pretty good Really needs a centre armrest though - Away to buy its first mod I will have to investigate the torque in the wet on my return Cal how do you know the boost pressure now?

Well like Cal I have also binned high performance in favour of high MPG for a while. Have just bought this:- although it is getting a cheeky wee remap before I collect it. 180bhp / 300+ lb/ft should suffice nicely with the 40+ mpg Cal, I will wave if I see you

Some of the older members on here might remember Scoobylav & myselves Scoobs and our move to a dedicated track car. 2006 saw the Puggy 205 on track. Total cost to buy the car / trailer / cage / nos and all other stuff approx £1K We had a fair bit of fun competing against Adam & Fees 205 till we blew the engine with too much NOS 2007 Sold Puggy and trailer to fund new project I have now purchased a part built Bright Orange Tiger Avon Stripped Naked Pile of Bits made to look like a car The good bits The next year or so has seen me stripping this back down to component parts (was poorly put together) and starting from scratch. I had lots of issues and delays - ECU and Wiring But last night saw her mapped at Wallace Performance by Russs (Cheers Russs, couldn't have done it without you ) and she is ready to go. JC, we will have to go out sometime, I have fished Kingennie many times, just not got my act together this year yet. Intermediate line works well in the windy conditions there. did a couple of hours on the tay at Kenmore on saturday but the wind was a killer. Dougster - I use the metal rings and just use the same knot that I use to tie the flies on with. It saves on needing a whole new cast if onr dropper gets a little short. Daz

So induction noise is fine, as long as exhaust is quiet enough. Ok thats sounds achievable [] Daz
