CustomScoobyIOM Posted January 28, 2005 Share Posted January 28, 2005 Interesting Twin Turbo has been around on the Legacy for an age. Utilising one smaller turbo then a bigger turbo. Here they are using 2 same size turbos to produce the power. Looks simular in size to a TD05 or maybe a 20g turbo. Basically the Impreza has Twin Heads. Turbo is run off each head, then instead of the exhaust manifold going into one uppipe from both banks, each bank powers it's own turbo. A different way of putting a bigger turbo on the engine so to speak. Two small ones = Same power as one large one But only being fed from one bank of heads instead of two...
